i mentioned how i was happy as a jw.

but that night, that very night after the conversation happened, there was a real feeling of relief.

we are supposed to have the truth, the bible is all scripture is inspired and benefitical for teaching, reproving, and setting things straight.

that wouldn't fly at all with the Bible..

Makes me think if Christ returned why is there any anointed left?

Recovery

some time ago, i was finally sick and tired of being sick and tired, so i quit drinking.

i have 27 months without a drop and things are much much better.

i started to slack off on the meetings and my excuse was always, i'm better so the gap between meetings isn't as big a deal.

Showed Spouse A Quote In the Bound Volume

as part of family worship last night, i pulled out the bound volumes i have been harvesting from different sources lately and showed my spouse the following quote:.

How do we get to 1914 and then 1919?

okay, this might sound like a really stupid question, but after researching this matter for the last hour, i still have no idea why the watchtower society points to 1914 and 1919 using the 70 weeks theory.. don't get me wrong, i know all about 607 b.c.e., but i am having trouble understanding why the prophecy of the 70 weeks has been added.

whose idea was it to add the 70 week business into the mix?.

i've researched the following websites and jwn threads so far, yet i'm still hitting blanks:.
