one of the businesses i cover is owned by jws and the father and 2 sons knew me as an active brother until 3 years ago when i told one of them i no longer attend the meeting.

today the father and one of the sons asked me if i was still inactive.

i told them it has been more than 5 years since i last been at a meeting.

OUTLAW

They asked me to look at the broadcast and the father said he would check with me if I did the next time I visit.

Jehovahs Witness Police who make sure you watch "JW.ORG Broadcasting"??!!..

they are late every month.. are these the same people that published 128 pages of magazines by the 1st,8th,15th and 22nd of every month for over 100 years?

are they understaffed?

Elders who dislike other congregation elders

by RULES & REGULATIONS in

my congregation had four elders who had different personalities.you would see a little friction among themselves.. #1 self-righteous and the 800 pound gorilla.he would push everyone around in the congregation and even some fellow elders.. # 2 elder was around 80 years old and looked like he stuck around a little too long.it looked like he was around because he never decided to give up the position.his duty became very light as he aged.. # 3 elder was in his early 30's and newly elected.he made no waves and whatever was asked of him in the congregation he would do.easy to push around like a little puppy dog.. #4 elder (who everyone liked ) was easy to get along with and had a family who everyone loved.

he didn't like elder # 1. they had a power struggle amongst each other which everyone observed while the meetings were in session.. here are 2 small verbal fights that i observed while the congregation meetings were in session:.

while elder # 1 was giving a talk ( heavy rain storms are brewing outside with loud thunder and lightning ) the microphones and lights are knocked out.we lost all power and could barely see.

How about a CAPCHA test for ANY new post?

maybe it would be possible to turn the capcha test off for a user after they have "survived" ten posts without being thrown into gehenna?.

there must be some days it seems like a thankless pain-in-the-ass, but you are rendering a truly life-saving service.. love ya, dude, (and dude-harad and all the little dudettes) in an appropriate and totally manly way!.

Finally heard a Dub defend overlapping generations

since the overlapping generations doctrine was introduced, i have found the jws i know to be uncharacteristically silent on the subject.

i can't remember hearing a single dub try to defend this idiocy.

but that all ended recently.

an uber dub sister pipes up about how grateful she is of Brother Splane's recent explanation of the overlapping generations. She said that she had been foggy on how this doctrine works but that the graphs and charts really pulled it all together for her, and that the example of Freddy Franz being overlapped was just what she needed to clear up her understanding. In her words, it now "all makes perfect sense". Of course the rest of the dubs in the room had no choice but agree, albeit with little enthusiasm.

........I Doubt Anyone Of Them Could Explain It..
