i'm a jw and i know jw's are not supposed to have tattoos but im wondering if its ok to get my ear pierced.if anyone has any information regarding this please reply.thank you.

Get a tatoo and peirce everything you can, within reason, the scrotum piercing I think is just wrong.
This should excite your life in the hall, they can't df you for it, onlu shun you.
On the other hand, if you have to ask then it's a gray area, and the answer would be no. No piercings of any kind, except others hearts and souls.
Tell everyone I have ever known How I feel about them.

Dateline NBC
Hello everyone. I don't visit here often because besides having four children, a job and being a full time pioneer, I also have two studies and the meetings to attend. However, tonight I feel the need to be among the friends. Last night I made a terrible mistake. I watched that Dateline show about Jehovah's Witnesses and became so ill I could hardly get up this morning.
I really cannot believe those things happen in Jehovah's pure organization. Isn't Jehovah's holy spirit over his people. protecting us? I know I could blame all of this on Satan, but maybe we shouldn't blame everything on Satan. Somethings come about just because of human imperfection.
Anyway, I don't what is true and what is not true. Thank you for letting me vent a little.

Satan wants us to have doubts and he uses this type of propaganda to sew the seeds. To find comfort I would suggest going to the offical site and viewing the videos and reading what "mother" has to say.

But primarily, I would really advise you to speak to an elder or some other spiritually mature friend. There are real imperfections in Jehovah's organization, and dealing with them can be the severest trial of all, but they're nothing new... and being discouraged by them is nothing to be ashamed of. So please, talk to someone about it.

Heavily pregnant Joyce Mibenge was on her way to plough fields one mile from her home when she went into labor, ZNBC reported. Halfway home, she was overwhelmed by labor pains and retreated into a nearby bush to rest.
"She gave birth there on her own. After a few moments when she had recovered enough to hold her baby she saw a happy python licking the legs of the baby with the rest already swallowed," ZNBC said.
The traumatized Mibenge pulled herself to her feet, fled to her home and raised the alarm, but searching villagers were unable to find the snake. She did not even know whether she had had a boy or girl."
A note from me: As shocking and appalling as this story is, shouldn't we be similarly ALARMED that the original serpent, Satan, is devouring our young at such a rapid rate? What steps can we take to protect them?

I am sorry you are going through rough times right now. No one can tell you what to do to be happy. The cold reality is if you have to join the human race and work for it. I had a friend tell me once that he thought the JW's were the laziest people on earth, and I have to agree. We have been spoon fed everything to tell us how to be happy. And how many are or were?
Or once we're in the new system, we will be happy. I use to wonder, how will that make me happy?
When we have been told over and over people who have everything they want are still unhappy? (camel through an eye of a needle crap)
I know for a fact you have to work hard at being happy.
Now get off your lazy ex-witness rear ends!
Get a hobby, join clubs, go back to school!
