there's this coffee shop right next to subway that i had never noticed before.

Cremation, Yes or No?

A few years back every publication of the Watchtower Society was pushing 1914! Now of course, that is slowly being disregarded.
The new 'push' is ' Watch out for them dangerous Apostates' they're everywhere!
Me thinks the Watchtower Organization is 'running a little scared' lately!

by cluless ini thought i would enjoy a few hours cathing up on events on the board.. i purchased a kebab pizza and opend a cold beer.

Well, I'm more open minded and am not afraid to read other people's views on things. I seem to like people better, considering myself now a part of the human race. I enjoy sleeping in on Saturday mornings and have discarded 'fear and guilt' in my life. I feel I am more spiritual now and have a much better relationship with God and realize that worship and service to Christ is a lot more than knocking on doors and going to meetings and leaving literature all over town.
I have more time to enjoy family and friends and have more empathy for others who have went through the things I have in the past. I also have more time to research various things instead of just what comes through the Watchtower Society.
And, I'm sure there is much more if I think about it.

I called my mom.
by lisavegas420 inafter more than 20yrs without a relationship....after more than 5yrs without hearing a word from her, i called.. out of the blue, i just called.. me: hi, mom, it's me lisa.
mom: oh, hi.. me: well, it's been a long time, i just wanted to check and see how you and dad were.. mom: we're fine.. the conversation ranged from, the weather, my husband, my children and grandchildren, (whom she's never met) my animals, gardening.
we talked about how dad was doing now, (after a stroke) how he walks with a cane, and uses an electric wheel chair when they go to walmart.

Sad situation. The Watchtower Organization contributes to mental health problems and lack of normal love between family members. Maybe it will all 'come out in the wash' someday.
