It seems we have broached denominational differences... ;)

by Coded Logic inso i've been watching the show and really enjoying it.
great to see a trek tv series finally get a reasonable budget.
beautiful costumes, sets, cinematography, action pieces, etc.. really my only complaints are how cg all the ships look and there's a fair bit of stiff dialog from time to time.. what do you guys think of the show?.

I've seen every episode of every series of Star Trek...including the semi-canonical animated series.
I absolutely LOVE Discovery. In fact, I think I like it better than TNG, which was always my favorite.
Of course, I'm not crazy of how they changed the Klingons. And I'm not too sure about the "spore drive" thing. But other than, fantastic.
I love how this is a continuous story, not a bunch of standalone episodes that one could pick up at any point.

The fly doesn't know it's in a bottle....
by dubstepped in... the walls are transparent.
so if you want to help the fly escape you first have to convince the fly that it's in a bottle, and only then can it find its way out.
that is taken from this american life episode 635 called "chip in my brain".

That was an awesome episode.
A one-on-one cult dynamic.

The least educated, for sure.
For all their indoctrination, I'm glad my parents sent me to public school. Of course, they disallowed college and discouraged any preparatory courses that led in that direction. And as long as I didn't get Fs, they realize didn't care about my grades (getting Fs would've been a bad witness and all that).

Whatever gets a JW to read the Golden Age magazine.
There are so many lovely articles how there is no such thing as gravity, about wood and glass atoms, and all sorts of "advanced" medical advice like diagnosing and curing diseases with radio waves, radium belts, and so forth.

I play it all the time.
I don't know what I would do without QI, XI, JO, or ZA.
Of course, I've no idea what those mean.
