I can't think of anything that needs to be said in book form on the subject that hasn't already been said.
It's hard to top Crisis of Conscience.
ok i want to pose a question to those who care to discuss this.. imagine a scenario.
you hear of a exjw writing a book, however, before writing this book this exjw is requesting money to publish said book.
you go along with it and help to get this book out to the public as you think that it will be beneficial.

editor's note: due to the nature of this story we've changed the names of the parties involved.
The elders here was doing exactly what Watchtower encourages.
hi guys.
sooner or later we're going to get a jw knocking on our door.
just like when we were jw's doing the knocking, it's good to have a question prepared to get them thinking about their own beliefs.
Matthew 28:18. If Jesus had all authority in heaven and earth back then, what more could he have gotten in 1914?
it now appears that the wt can df you just by marking you.
this happened to my me and my wife a few week ago.
a marking talk was given at the mid-week meeting in which no names were mentioned yet a detailed description of the "offending bastards" was delivered so that there as no doubt who this "pond scum" might be.
Marking isn't new.
And it is obviously done in a way to avoid litigation. They tell enough personal details (and count on the rumormill) that clues people in who they are to shun.
Technically, JWs can greet and speak to marked ones. They just can't "associate" with them.
are they pretty much left alone?
are they respected for their having been elders at one time?
are they treated like crap?.
What? You don't sing David Splane's MASTERPIECES?
just wanted to ask a question of those who were born in as i was.. how did you feel to have been "privileged to have been born into the only true faith - the truth"?.
did this make you feel confident, or proud - or perhaps arrogant?.
how did you reconcile the fact that 99% of the earth's population was not born "into the truth"?.
I felt lucky (even though I couldn't use that word).
But as a JW I never felt confident, I felt doomed most of the time. While there's a certain institutional arrogance that comes from being in a cult, it was never an individual arrogance.
I accepted but struggled with the doctrine that over 99.9% of the world's population was about to be eternally destroyed.
according to some websites, it appears there's going to be a transferral of several departments out of rome and to imola (bologna) in november, along with the sale of some property in the capital.. are they downsizing?
anyone know what's going on?.
BTW...the relocation would be perfect. After all, it's a bunch of Baloney!

Rutherford would've love that!
this is the first of a multi-part article that tells my story, and how ajwrb got started.. https://www.openmindsfoundation.org/saving-thousand-lives-year-reform-watchtowers-policy-blood-transfusions-part-two/.
I do think it's important to differentiate the leadership (Watchtower) and the average JW, who are victims.
jehovah's witnesses say that they have the truth and the truth is constant.
they believe that what they teach is the truth that comes directly from jehovah god.
can you think of anything that has changed in the last 20 years to show a jehovah's witness that the truth is not necessarily the truth..
That was pocket vetoed sometime in the 80's.
