In general, it takes a year.
If this is true in Japan, it might be because of the decline the organization has seen in that nation.
i hear a number of disfellowshiped are quickly reinstated in acertain circuit in japan.one disfellowshipped person who are obviously in worldly.
clothings, attended a meeting.whole congregation thought that person was not yet sincerely repented, but, announcement was made that the person was reinstated.branch office and circuit overseers are eager to bringdisfellowshiped back to the organization.local elders are not very pleased about it..

well another big bad elder here just wanting to say sorry.. i'm sorry that so many were treated like crap, and shown that god's love is not to be found around jehovah's witnesses.
i'm sorry that inadvertently i've likely taught many to judge and as such see that racism permeates every corner of the jw world, else why else would someone be of the world, or even inactive.
i'm sorry i sat in on a jc, and voted to df.
we used to be so close before she got heavily involved in the jw religion.
she actually got me into it (i actually believed all the nonsense) and i went to meetings with her and everything, we were like brother and sister.
she lives in texas now in a remote area where their is no cell phone signal or anything with her dad and mom (i think they said they moved their to get closer to jehovah which is weird).
just wanted to say hello since i am new to this forum.
allow myself to introduce myself.
lol.
i'm curious.
what do you know from your own experience and talking to other active jws?
i know from my own informal, non-scientific survey that most jws do not watch jw.tv.
Whenever I visit my parents, they have that dang-blasted JW channel blaring at all times, even when they are doing other things. It reminds me of a scene from 1984.
i was just a teenager and have a vivid memory of sitting in a chair doing a microphone for the sunday meeting.
everyone was commenting that it didn't mean the end was far off, and it didn't change the condition of the dead, or the 144,000, or the trinity so we should still remain faithful.
this is my first memory as a kid being just a teen that i ever had a single doubt.
I remember the change, but mentally I was asleep at the wheel when this happened. I had just moved into my own place, was working my first real job, so mentally I was too excited to really contemplate these things. I wish a lightbulb had gone off then for me.
5 years earlier I remember a pioneer who lived with my family (she converted in her teens) said, "What if the Society ever realizes the Generation is wrong?"
I said, "That will never happen!"
My father said, "It will still be the truth."
morn worship geofry jackson
heard a lot buzz for our upcoming convention.
those that already been were saying how great it was and all the videos that were presented.. well, thus far not impressed!
in fact many times pure insanity!
The best convention ever!
Isn't it a "sin" to say anything less?
it was a simple question: isn't jesus my "mediator" if i put faith in him like the scriptures say?
the research to that answer, from the w79 4/1 p. 31, was mind blowing.
how dare they deny me a belief firmly stated in the scriptures?
