In search of custody hearing advice ...

i don't have kids, but i recently found that someone with kids that lives in my town is also an ex-jw.

she just happened to post on an apostafest thread on facebook for an event that i attended, saw that we lived in the same place, and i met her for the first time tonight.

pretty cool.. she has a 14 year old boy that is super smart and very articulate.

Strange first names among jw's

i recall a " machlon" , "eunice" , even a "jehosafath".

This topic is a sore spot with me. My parents named my brother and I after biblical characters. His name isn't as bad as mine. Growing up it was not a common name as it is becoming.

Like most Witness parents who name their child after a bible character, my brother and I were given names of Hebrew decent. Old Testament. I have no Jewish ancestry and I no longer believe in the Judeo-Christian faith. I have no attachment to the name.

Tax question: How are illegals paid at farms, lawn care, construction, etc?

i was wondering how exactly is it that illegals can get paid and be under the radar?

a business takes in cash.

at farms, construction, etc, most probably comes in from checks and credit.

Paying cash "under the table" is not happening. Most contractors do not do the labor themselves. They subcontract all that out.

You don't need a SSN to open a bank account. You can apply to the IRS for an EIN number. After opening a bank account, the criminal alien usually just cashes their check at their own bank or at the employer's bank.

Employers may or may not be 10-99 the criminal aliens. If they do they are scott free. 10-99 employees are not employees of the company.

and who in particular has officially imposed such an interdiction within this organization?

this prohibition has no biblical foundation, but plays a vital role in separating families, making non-jws out to be idolaters in the eyes of jws...

The birthday prohibition is an example of a Jehovah's Witness dogma. There is no prohibition found anywhere in the Bible. It is a drawing to a conclusion based on a subjective opinion with the goal to look different.

When Rutherford completed him hostile takeover of Russell's organization he wanted to make sure there was a clear division between those in his organization and those who were not. This is one example.

, c.t russell started the magazine titled " zions watchtower and herald of christs presence" in the late 1870`s .. stating that jesus christ had appeared invisibly on his return in 1874 and was now present in the heavens.so according to them at the time they could rightly say as the wt pronounced they were heralding jesus christs presence then.. charles taze russell and his followers were witnesses of jesus christ and not witnesses of jehovah.. the christian greek scriptures /new testament are full of the prime purpose of christians is to witness about ,too, and for the person/ name jesus , that has been given above any other name either in heaven ,on earth ,or under the earth phil.2:10. it was only the usurper of c.t.russell joseph rutherford who hijacked the religion and made it a jehovian/old testament religion shifting the emphasis away from jesus christ and putting it on a catholic name of the "old testament god jehovah" invented by a 13th century monk using the four letters of the tetragrammaton into latin and adding some vowels to come up with the name jehovah.. no where in the christian greek scriptures the new testament are followers of jesus christ told to be witnesses of jehovah ,however countless times at least (20+) they are told to be witnesses of jesus christ..

You're actually on to something with this. I do know the big "Jehovah" push didn't come until after Russell died and Rutherford completed his hostile takeover of the WBTS. Russell's death turned his religious sect into 3 separate sects. Rutherford wanted the public to know beyond a doubt that his sect was different. The whole doctrine of "being know part of this world" comes from Rutherford's reign of the company.

Teenagers fascinated by the military

The Russians have been attempting to influence the presidential election results for decades.

The Russians were not trying to influence who won. The Russians goal was to sow divide in the U.S. to destabilize it. Mission accomplished.

What should be upsetting the citizens of the United States is that the DNC is literally saying "Citizens - you're all stupid. How could you not vote for our candidate. "Didn't you watch the election watch programs on CNN and MSN? The news anchors were dumbfounded.

So, rather than picking themselves up by the bootstraps and coming up with a strategy for the 2020 election, the DNC decides to say "There's no way the American people would have voted for Trump over Hillary. It must be some sort of voter fraud!" Then, from that point forward, the DNC and mass media have gone on a campaign to de-legitimize the Trump presidency.

It's because of this that Trump is all but assured getting re-elected in 2020. If your party is calling the will of the people illegitimate and looks down their noses at the masses you are done.
