Losing a loyal friend of 14 years
by Still Totally ADD inthis last tuesday was one of the most stressful and sad days of our life when we had our lab morgan put to sleep.
she was so sick and out of it we just had to do it.
when i called the spca on monday to make a appointment to have her put to sleep i felt like i betrayed her.

The Unbelievable Just Happened!

something uneblievable just happened.. i am pomo for a while not too long though.
while we were away (i and my best friend for the weekend), i received several texts from my 2 friends, from my ex-cong ,who are pimi(but starting to have doubts) who have been asking me questions about the jdubs.the texts seemed quite urgent n serious, so got the lowdown .at the weekend meeting , 3 families walked out!.

what stands out is there statement claiming that survival through armageddon depends on loyalty to those 'taking the lead'.
since they claim there will be a point during the gt that they (the gb) won't be physically around, jws must still be loyal to jw leaders.. whats interesting in this article is that they make it clear that they, the governing body are going to take part, from heaven, in the war of armageddon.

- go public witnessing when (perhaps) there is social upheaval and its life dangerous to do so?
- to see fellow jw are safe and fed?
are they saying they will be no longer around but ruling (gasp!) from heaven? whats that? Move over Jesus.

If I may raise a couple of things here.
- In my wt learning days no one ever told me of this blood things origin, ie when it started or that it was a flip flop as with organ transplants.So the teachings are flawed by indecision.
- so i was left to assume it was a belief from earliest times.
- Its my life observation that jw as a group are among the unhealthiest of people. They are sedentary and have no participation in any active sport.
- Their understanding of nutrition is poor.
- so when such a person and possibly with obesity issues goes under the knife the doctors are pushing up hill for a good outcome but I readily accept that otherwise healthy people dont normally need surgery.
also I have had surgery and the thoracic surgeon said out right he preferred not to use blood as a matter of course due to reactions that could occur.
In my case they used blood 'harvesting' recycling through filters and back to me. The hospital required 2 (just two) units of blood to be on stand by in case of 'catastrophe' which I agreed to. It was not used.
and what is the wt acceptance of parts of blood further shattering their doctrine and this thing called 'hemo-pure' which and I believe is derived from bovine blood.. yoiks!
