I had a 3rd cousin that wore a beard - back in the early 90s. He may still have the beard, but I have lost touch with him.
The beard was a topic of conversation within the congregation and elders, But he did not have a position and didn't want one, so the elders had no control over him. I think they were just happy to see him attend an occasional meeting.

You gotta be F*&^ing kidding. The leaders blame it on the R&F and take no personal responsibility! This makes me so angry. I'll bet there will be no small amount of bile coming up during the assembly presentation.

one thing over the years social media has made me painfully aware of is how many times i see someone use the phrase "i'll pray for you" and the outcome is bad.
recently a friend of mine who at one time was my manager where i worked got cancer.
a lot of people were praying for him.
I wish that prayers made a difference. I the off-chance that they do, I encourage all to include me in their prayers.
I was an MS for 10+ years and an elder for 3. In all those years I never once conducted the Watchtower.
If an MS was to conduct, I suspect it would be because of extremely unusual circumstances. I would also suspect that the MS that conducted the Watchtower would be a major arse-kisser.

You got to be kidding. If I was going to be disfellowshipped for some sexual issue I would at least expect an exchange of body fluids. Otherwise, what is the point?
