  Are we participants in this forum because of bouts of "loneliness"?

  i wonder how many of us here hold on to this meeting place out of "loneliness.

  could it be that we harbor feelings of "abandonment" and "loneliness" from being left cold and dry by the wt people and our families?

  perhaps we do have a need to reach out to people with similar experiences.

  I have not been to a meeting for over 10 years. I am pursing what I consider to be a successful life: I have a happy family outside the borg. I don't think that loneliness explains why I come to this site on a regular basis.

  Do you have any other determinants? Also, is it a bad thing that I keep coming back? I have an obsession with the latest of the organization that stole much of my life.

  Someone tell me why the Watchtower is tax exempt?

  there is a watchtower kingdom hall.

  they do not pay any local sales tax or property tax.

  They follow the IRS guidelines for tax exempt organizations. If you think they do not qualify you have every right to contact the IRS and explain why they should not be tax exempt. Keep in mind the primary exemption that churches get is related to property taxes. You are not going to get much tax revenue from income generated; the significant exemption relates to property taxes.

  I would love to see churches lose their tax exempt position. I doubt that this will happen in our lifetime.

  Hilary will be the next president - that is my prediction.

  This is a good thing for the course of history. I also predict that she will be an overwhelmingly successful president.

  If I am still alive after 8 years of her presidency I will refer to this post and tell everyone - I told you so!

  Revelation - it's grand climax is at hand

  some people point out the subliminal pictures in the wtbts publications but sometimes things are just so obvious, such as the title of the book above.. the person who came up with the title for this book must have had a good old laugh.. interestingly, this book first came out in 1988 and has not been included in the online library but nothing has replaced it.

  the org is really going backwards when they ditch old light and cannot come up with anything new.

  they are real wankers ;)..

  We were studying the Grand Climax book at the book study when I was going through my early stages of learning TTATT. Reading the book without the JW filters was an eye-opening experience.

  The Horror of mom needing blood and almost dying...you dont want this!!!

  my mom was unwell for awhile bruises on her body....doc tells us she has a form of lukiemia.

  of course "no blood" she is anointed and stubborn as hell.

  her platelets (blood fraction 2% of blood volume) are 4 should be 150!!!

  This story is so disturbing. Platelets are just hunks of protein. They may be slightly bigger than the "approved" fractions and serum. But I have a hard time deciding to die based upon the size of the protein fraction. If they cut the platelets into smaller pieces that would be ok - right?

  I thought witnesses could take platelets. Isn't that considered a fractional component of blood? What is the difference between platelets and any other component that is allowed? Are you sure this is not a "conscience" matter?

  mans requirements are limited which can be satisfied with a little and tension-free endeavor..

  however man attempts not only to collect but also to grab and amass everything to the excess.

  somehow he feels that he can be happy only when he has in abundance whereas others have nothingwhich seems to be the thread that runs throughout the history.
