Growing Up Strange (even for a JW)
by GizmoSnicket ini've been meaning to join an online ex-jw community for quite some time, and finally have made the effort to do so.
i was raised in a small/mid size city in the northeast united states.
i am currently 27 years old, just about five years fully out of the organization (after about two years of "fading" away).

"The witness" documentary aired on TV last night for the first time
by joe134cd ini knew it was coming as it had been advertised on tv.
i just thought to myself, i hope that my father doesnt get wind of it.
if he sees this no good will come of it, so i never mentioned a word to him.

Mike & Alice Krammer (Minnesota & New Z...
by ExpandedMind injust wondering if anyone from minnesota or new zealand knew of a mike and alice krammer.
they were pioneers in minnesota and possibly got into the circuit work while there and then heard they moved to where the need was greater in new zealand.

Underming the Watchtower Video Clips
by Vanderhoven7 inthere are a few video clips or short videos that serve to undermine watchtower beliefs and practices.
i'll post one animated one that hits home rather successfully regarding baptism.
there is another one that shows a cartoon jehovah changing his mind again and again about whether or not he will resurrect the people of sodom and surrounding cities.

Fun with Google Trends
by Simon inin case you don't know, google trends is a fantastic tool - it lets you look at search terms over time and view trends.
it can, for instance, tell you if interest in something is growing or diminishing based on how many people are searching for it.. of course it can't tell if the searches are for negative or positive information .... here's some results for jw related terms:.
