  Testing, testing, testing.....Jehovah TESTS?

  a classroom teacher has to administer tests.

  the teacher doesn't know who is learning and who isn't or how much.. a test pilot flys a new jet to determine what strengths and weaknesses correspond to the design because nobody knows how close.

  the manufacture of it came to the ideal.. fire drills are a test: can everybody exit in an orderly fashion in a reasonable amount of time in case there is a fire.. if you think you may be pregant you take a pregnancy test because you won't know for sure otherwise (unless you wait 9 months!).

  I think what concerns me is the fact that the earth is being destroyed.

  Jesus came so that the world would be

  saved through him. John 3:17 http://biblos.com/john/3-17.htm

  But Christ has become a "personal" savior so that His being

  King has become somewhat useless to the Earth.

  It is like the father who had two sons. He said to one

  "go do this" the son said "I will", but he did not.

  Jesus is to follow. I believe we are to lean on each other,

  but trust in God, only. I see people trusting in themselves and in

  their relationship with the Christ. I love Jesus, but I am not so sure

  about myself that I know I understand him. Do you think he is the Father?

  I have seen people argue right on, beautifully saying, but then admit

  they see God as the son. I am so very tired of it.

  Can't people just admit they can obey God, without

  knowing what He looks like? You know, the three headed thing.

  It is disgusting and I hate it. But I appreciate you very much for

  People. I have posted thousands of opinions. Seldom people

  answer me, most times they just hop over me (my post).

  When they answer me I see that they had no idea what I said.

  So, OK, maybe I'm delusional, speaking gibberish, but it sounds new and good to me.

  I am looking for people willing to re-examine the Bible.

  People who are not leaning on traditional understanding.

  I know there is knowledge that leads to everlasting life and a resurrection

  but the "Society" doesn't have it. Neither, in my opinion, does anyone else have it.

  Hundreds of scripture interpretations

  have been handed down amiss* and people are running with the wrong idea.

  I believe there is a real possibility of knowing The Word accurately.

  To follow Jesus has become a very delicate balance, not many people

  are willing. Doesn't it appear all the people so far are going after trusting God.

  I think we ought to be going after being trusted by God.

  * I'm not talking about just JWs. It means every Christian religion.

  I'm hoping for holy. We all should be hoping for holy.

  Holy isn't actually boring or dull. It's quite good, I believe.

  So, do you know people like that? The one's willing to listen to the "new scrolls".

  Nope, they are not something we don't know. We know them, new is to

  understand them. That makes all the sense in the world to me, that

  the new scolls mean the correct understanding. I'm getting a whole whole lot

  of silence, but the silence is speaking volumes that I would rather not read.

  I don't remember any one else ever saying "what do you mean?"

  I know you love Jehovah!!!

  earlier today at work my inactive jw co-worker was telling me how the elders want to set up a meeting with her parents and with her, and her husband who is studying.

  they haven't been to a meeting in at least 2-3 months, skipped the assembly, and missed the special day assembly.

  they missed it due to just being busy with life and other things.

  it sounds like loving Jehovah means loving the organization.

  Jehovah's Witnesses didn't make Jehovah. Sorry, but that is the way it

  sounds. The Our Father is real. They who take His name for a worthless purpose

  are breaking the third commandment. Do some people leave the organization

  and then throw everything else away? I burned the books. I had my own

  mini holocaust, I made a fire bridge, it was cool, I mean hot. It was fun.

  for example, labeling a movement as a cult.

  sociologists d. bromley and a. shupe once described what they called the tnevnoc cult.

  A logical conclusion. Excellent riddle from Bromley and Shupe. I didn't guess it. I didn't try.

  I wonder how many times and in how many places the same wonderful argument has

  been presented. Nice work, but heart can't hear. Their heart leads them to them, their

  heart has to lead them away. My friend (I think I figured out dub, means voice dubed in, right?)

  said there were morsels at the Convention this summer that she would not have liked to miss.

  So she feels better for a while. She is the only one I found at the door, now I fear she's stuck.

  But she is happy. Happy is good. (They have not come for me yet. I do not wonder why).

  And Behold! I am not disfellowshipped yet. I have a blog. Worth disfellowshipping for.

  Why do you all TALK like that? It is the Watchtower that atributes god head to humans.

  When you say Yahweh did it it is people who did it. So your equation looks like this

  people=yahweh Do you not see a problem with that equation? I am looking for

  intelligence that can believe in Jesus. I don't where to look. Does anyone know?

  you hear the witlesses harping on how great tribulation is coming.

  there are signs even in the world that major bedlam is soon to break out.. so then, how many witlesses did you know that have plans to make such tribulation a bit more endurable?

  you know, things like gold and silver in case their currency becomes worthless.

  first contradiction in the bible?

  contradiction without the use of an outside medium (such as archaeology, fossil study).

  i just stumbled on this after reading the thread about adam and the sexual subliminal message.

  i was thinking about adam and eve and chronology, and a contradiction popped up in my head...so i picked up the bible and there it is.. gen 1:27 - god creates adam and eve, tells them to be fruitful.. gen 2:18 - now adam is alone?

  Jehovah God resides in the spiritual heaven, it is the heaven of the heaven.

  Heaven as we know it is the expanding universe. It and time are twined.

  The Heaven of the heaven does not exist in our dimension. Time is not present

  there. I know you beautiful women want to go there, OK, you men too.

  But then you wouldn't have, never mind.

  Maybe the spiritual "person" Satan, when thrown down, entered then into

  earth with it's "short" time. Get it, forever of no timeness IN heaven

  then timeness which would be shorter even if it lasted for ever, so it's not a date.

  What are bad associations?

  i have done my bible research, i am not half done, but i have enough for now.1 corinthians 15:33 the word rendered "associations" is homilia, meaning company association intercourse companionship conversation.the word, according to my bible source, is not repeated anywhere.

  so i looked up company first.

  this is what i found.. 1 corinthians 5:9 "i wrote you in an epistle not to company (sunanamignusthai) w/ fornicators.

  I hate dead men. "They said", don't you just hate that? If I was dead, I'd be angry

  that people were quoting me even though I was wrong. He wasn't quoting Menander.

  Is it a joke? Take away the "n" do you get "meander?" Clueless. Men are too, not just women.

  "To wander aimlessly and idly without fixed direction" Meander. I did not know that, but now I do.

  My gut is screaming 'YOU CAN'T SAY THAT" and I say "to hell with it". I like my

  Law suits

  loss of income or anything else... and would such a law suit hold up in court?.

  I have a question that I feel I can "waste" a post on (I have two more, one more after this one)

  OK, I might say that it is not only here, but also my blog, Bible Discussion Forum

  Religious- Science Forum, Interfaith Forum, I think there is more that I don't remember.

  I am being ignored. So I am pondering why? I am coming up with not much. But it makes me

  feel like I talking from out-of-space or on the other hand, from the grave. (No I don't

  believe it). Who is not ignoring me? Nobody. You think I'm kidding? OK it's funny, but I think

  I don't like it.

  I am not for sueing but I disagree with your comment BOTR "to leave it is physically possible" because

  even though being there might bore someone to death, leaving it is what hurts.

  It hurts for the same reason leaving synagogue did in Jesus day; loss of family and loss of some

  business. If a witness is dependent on his friends for income, he will lose it. They will say

  "Jehovah provides" but I think that would not hold up in court.

  They use 1 Crinthians 15:33 as their good excuse to shun, but it can easily be discredited.

  Look at a thousand posts of them who are loyal to the Governing Body, where ever they say

  "God's will", "Society" can be substituted. To have been baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses

  means faith in God. They turned it into faith in man, which is a detestable thing. But a Bible Student

  knows Ecclesiastes 5:6 http://biblos.com/ecclesiastes/5-6.htm So their membership in the organization

  becomes a type of slavery of conscience and heart. The reason why it is so is because both the "leaders"

  and the followers let it happen. But not all. So if she who's conscience believes this; 2 Timothy 3:5

  Bible says is important to her conscience, how is that not kid-napping?

  Because it is not the mother and father that the child was taken from, that's all.

  I believe it takes a "village" to raise a child, now the village has become the world.

  The detestable thing is grieving the Holy Spirit. It is bad for the whole world.
