I was critically ill for a long time...

but thanks to the excellent health care on this site iam on the road to recovery, and can now fully appreciate what a gloriouse thing it is to be free from the w.t and savor approaching spring in all its beauty, ....however i am not sure i am ready for debating on all the boards many heavy threads about gods existence and evolution .. anybody else feal the same?

Hi there The Rebel,

I fully concur with your emerging from your spiritual malaise. I was in a perpetual fog for nigh on 32yrs. I'm having subjective dreams these last few night. You don't need to be Freud or Jung to understand why.

My daughter has wakened up and disassociated herself last week. It's been a fraught time lately. Both our non-believing partners are bemused atthe "goings on"

Jw org Automatic Downloads

as many are aware, the society automatically downloads a years worth of programs on a 32 gb tablet --or whatever you have -- using up space.... without permissions i may add... yet i cant get rid of the old copies on there, does anyone know how to delete them - i have downloaded them then clicked on the delete button, away it goes from the download page but when i go back to the original page that the download comes from, it is still there to download again... so i repeat the process and same thing happens....... .

help!!!

My cat died suddenly!

i did not realize that they were symptoms that something was wrong with my cat -but i did notice that my cat was breathing a little differently for a period of about a few days.

i also noticed prior and after to that, that on occasion, my cat would cry at the litter box, but that was a very seldom event.. anyway, about a week ago i noticed the symptom that my very loved cat was breathing heavy.

so i called a taxi and i was going to rush him to emergency room for cats.

So sorry you lost your beloved feline, as the owner of 2 precious creatures, I feel your grief. I lost one of my other feline friends to liver cancer 3 yrs ago, snd still grieve her.

We had a spate of cat deaths lately. Some eejit was poisoning the neighborhood moggies with anti freeze. Just a thought.

DA: Today I used my typewriter and fountain pen

last week my mother (i live with her) gave me some clues that she finally awoke, and well, that came to be true and we now speak openly against many many things i considered taboo to talk to her.

so with that achieved, it was time for a delayed duty, i took my typewriter one wrote my da letter, and signed it with my favorite fountain pen, with my "trade mark" royal blue ink (everyone in the hall knew me for using that color and type of pen).

i will hand it to the elders tomorrow, in february 14th, the "day of love".

1974 Special Meetings

as we all know, armageddon was just around the corner in 1974. at the district conventions that year, it was announced that there would be two special meetings during the month of september; one would be for interested people (e.g., bible studies, family members, inactive, etc.

), and the other would be for baptized publishers.

these were to be held in place of the service meetings for the two weeks, iirc.
