We are all so different in so many wonderful ways. When i served as a JW, i never really thought much about everlasting life for myself. When my zeal was great and sincere, it was always love for God. It wasn't for myself or even my fellow man. It was always about this incredible idea. This thing greater than myself or, in fact, us all.

And, little did I know when, pointing to the back of the congregation, calling upon "Brother Pane in the rear," who made his living washing window panes, to comment on the 5th paragraph of the week's Watchtower study, that he was an agent of Satan's Apostate Army.

I will practically need peer review to the point of a Nobel Prize before I believe anything like this - after that Mars rock sample bacteria fossil fiasco.
Remember, that came from a NASA group too.
And let's not forget those "alien" bacteria from the bottom of a California lake which supposedly had arsenic-based (rather than phosphorus-based) DNA chemistry.
They are being very careful and reviewing heavily before they come out with a definitive statement on Curiosity's findings. This is good.

Did Life Originate By Chance or Intelligent Design? Or is There a Third Option?
by JimmyPage inwhen discussing the argument of how life originated the wt always boils it down to being chance vs. intelligent design.. no scientist in their right mind believes it happened by chance.
nor do most scientists believe that life is a product of god.. there is a solution that the wt completely ignores and that is... natural selection.. how many here who believe in a creator have honestly examined what natural selection really is?.
(i've been reading "the god delusion" by richard dawkins and was very surprised when i came to the chapter that actually mentions the watchtower society's arguments for intelligent design.

Anyone Gluten Intolerant?
by jemba ini recently found myself on a gluten free diet and have never felt better, finally my health problems are solved, pity all those prayers to jeehooha didnt help me when i needed it.. now i am finding myself occasionally accidently 'glutened' and remember how crap i felt before.
just another wonderful discovery ive made since getting out of the borg.. how have you found being on a gluten free diet and being gluten intolerant?.

It isn''t just gluten. Wheat contains other defensive glycoproteins in order to protect itself from being eaten. Grains actually contain toxic anti-nutrients.
