  Oct. 15th WT - Who Should be your Friend to Associate & Recreate With ?

  with many of us here on jwn in a fading state trying to stay halfway connected to jw relatives - i thought it would be informative and helpful to know what the wt society is telling jehovah's witnesses about who or who should not be their close friends.

  so if you experience even more shunning than normal - this article may be influencing some jw's to do this.

  you won't find any new information here- but the wt society is definitely trying to control who witnesses hang out with.. in the article " is your recreation beneficial " ?

  Hi flipper. And the beat goes on with the WT cult. This is nothing new with them. Inactive ones were always considered evil and apostates they are the devil in the flesh. When it comes to scare tactics they are best out there. When it comes to showing love and compassion they are deaf, dumb and blind. My dogs show more concern and love than the WT cult does. The victims of the WT cult are being put under more pressure. Totally ADD

  Looks like after the hurricane passes there will be call out for Temp workers to come up and waste their time and money on fixing and cleaning up the WT buildings. It's the new way the WT saves money while making more money. Totally ADD

  Tough Situation.

  my grandmother is not doing so well health-wise.

  she just turned 91 and has been a faithful jw her entire life.

  she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is battling pneumonia on top of that.. we were very close up until the point, a few years ago, when she asked me flat-out if i had any intention of coming back or if i even believed in god.

  Sorry to hear about the tough situation you are in. It just goes to show you how twisted the JW cult is. Some believe in homepathic medicine others think it is spiritism. Just be happy your grandmother wants to talk to you before her time is over. Hopefully things will work out to your benefit. This is a time to show support. Try not to get upset with foolish JW Cult thinking. They are all still cult victims like you were at one time. I hope everything will work out in a peaceful way. Good luck to you. Totally ADD

  today i uploaded an article to my blog addressing two pieces of advice watchtower teaches.

  one of these is watchtowers counsel that jehovahs witnesses should not run ahead of jehovah.

  i was given the link to a bit of information regarding on old poster/moderator of this forum.

  i was not sure of the validity of the information so have been trying to find out if it is true.. earlier today craig's estranged wife, kate, (bikerchic) confirmed that craig died at his home on aug 10, 2011.. i am sure that many people here remember craig's time here and how he went out of his way to offer support to posters, even calling them, to give whatever help he could as they adjusted to their post-jw lives.. i know many people here will grieve his loss.. --------------.

  Sorry I do not remember him I am to new on this forum. But it is sad to see ones by your comments who truly went out of their way to help people. It sounds like he set a wonderful example for all of us to follow. I am so sorry for all your lost. He really was to young to die. Totally ADD

  To shave or not to shave? That is the question. A fun subject.

  when we moved up to pa back in late april the first thing i did when we got here was to grow a beard.

  not a full face beard just around the mouth beard.

  i love the look but my wife although she thinks i look good with it does make me look older because it is grey.

  OK guys keep focus. Just woke up to pub shaving. The subject is bread shaving on the face not down below. But your comments are damm funny. A subject only your significant other only knows. Unless you are a nudist. LOL Our generation was hairy. Now the overlap generation is hairless but sometimes hairy. This is so confusing. I think I will just be me and see what happens. Totally ADD

  Since my Elder dad died...

  ive been sad.i miss him alot.but i must say,it is very nice to not be hearing all of the "doom and gloom" all of the time.the "we will all be in paradise except you,and even tho i wont be supposed to,ill still miss you" speech.

  {still chokes me up a bit}.hell,yeah,i miss my dad,and feel like i was robbed of many years of a good life with him by the jw's and their petty doctrines and spys.i still have my mum,and she goes to the meetings occasionally,but she knows the deal.my dad was just too damaged from his time in aushweitz to really ever be happy of free.poor soul.i hope he has found some solace and peace at last.dad,i still love you,even tho you made my life hell with the jw thing,i know you were doinf it cause you really did believe it...but its nice to be away from it.i hope he is at peace at last......

  Sorry for your loss and hurt. I know exactly how you feel. I loss my Elder dad 2 years ago and it stills hurts. So much time wasted because of this cult. Wishing you comfort and time to heal from these wounds. Totally ADD
