  4 more sleeps till we fly to Australia !

  just to update you all that we finally fly out to australia from the uk on the 13th.

  me and sleeping beauty are getting out of the sinking ship that is the uk!.

  will land in sydney on the 15th so will update you all once we get settled in.

  Move to Australia NSW in 8 weeks !

  well after 3 crap jobs here in the uk i have secured 2 job offers in 2 days from australia !

  one in queensland and the other in nsw hunter valley.. wage is better in nsw and relocation cost's/flights covered etc.. will be on 100k aud as a senior radio engineer for the state emergency service radio upgrade by motorola tetra/p25 for the fire and rescue service.. .

  i have been working on this for over 12 months as some of you know, we have a 457 visa sposored by the employer and will be able to get pr after 2 years.

  this example is off another site but i think the amount of real jw's who visit jwn may take something from this example and think what the hell am i doing in a religion that treats family like this !

  JW Cable TV Installer Counts His Time.. Home owner very pissed off !

  the directv guy came by today to install our new dvr.

  a pretty simple install as i already installed the telephone line, and the amp/switch box is about 5 feet below where the extra line needs to run.. .

  so all the installer needs to do is give us the new dvr receiver, run one coax line, plug it all in and leave.. .

  google_ad_section_start today is the 1 year aniversary that my jw dad came the 9 miles from his house to ours.

  he always came every 2 weeks to see us and his grandkids to have a sunday roast dinner.

  jehovahs witnesses, who refuse to take part in the military service or any of its non-military alternatives (siviilipalvelus, see link below) for reasons of conscience, were exempted from the compulsory national service in 1987. well the jw's in sweeden better get used to having to comply with this very soon then.

  i was just wondering if ministers of religion in the uk have to have the same checks done like the one in australia?

  the elders and ministerial servant's and all the members who are baptised are all ordained ministers for the wtbts.

  they all have contact with children and as such all of them could be a pedo and hide it from the elders at the hall.
