WT Conspiracy Theory - Pinky Ring - DUMB, I know
by cappytan inoh man, i know i'm gonna catch flack for this.. everyone sees masonic conspiracies everywhere.. i am not a conspiracy theorist.
i don't honestly believe the governing body are freemasons.. yet, probably due to cruising this site and seeing all the masonic conspiracy threads, i saw this when looking for a shot of lett's pinky ring to show how he wore one in october, but then took it off in may to ask for money.. .
original is on the left, and on the right, i played with the brightness/contrast to get it to show up a little better.. what does the pattern on his ring look like to you?.

A big hello and thank you
by iwasblind ini just wanted to introduce myself and say a big hello to all of my mentally diseased friends.. i say friends because i have been lurking for some time so it feels like home (us lurkers are a bit scared and cautious so it takes a while).
i won't bore you with too many details, but i am a born in, currently serving as the cobe of a congregation.
my wife and i have pioneered for the last 10 years and were shaken awake by that ridiculous 15th july 2013 wt about the generation and 1914.. my wife who is much smarter than me has questioned for years.

Wonderful that we have come to our senses again. After slaving in wt for 50yrs, shedding all that "new personality" stuff and uncovering the beautiful person that I used to be ......has been amazing!
A big welcome to you & your wife .......... you are standing at the EXIT. Whether you hang around at that door a bit or go racing right through it, is up to you. Take care of each other as you go.
If there are times that you fear watchtower propaganda may be right (Armageddon, only true religion etc) research it until you are satisfied.

this faithful jw decided he could not attend a later meeting (6 pm sunday meeting) and soon quit his job(or got fired to attend his sunday meeting) so he could attend the sunday meeting he was assigned to.
i think he was on welfare because this story states he won't work on sunday morning because that's when his meeting is!

Interesting Pew Stats on JWs--Alarming Trends for the Borg
by Cadellin insomeone may have linked to this already, but the this interactive page in the pew religion study is pretty interesting, especially when you look at the trends for jw between 2007 and 2014. here's what it shows:.
jws are increasingly non-white.
in fact, the percentage of white jws has decreased from 2007 to 2014 by 12%, while hispanic jws have increased by 8%.

LOVE this! Hahahh this is biting them in the ass! GB going to sitting there with egg on their faces big time. Think about all those female witlesses ........no hubbies ....no sex! Mostly old men available now ....haha no babies either! Used to be if a sister was over 30 she very well could be sitting on the shelf for the rest of her life. GB have no answers to that. Just wait till the new world, all the little boys will grow up and you will get younger and shazzamm......... a hubbie for you too....aaww! What a fricken crazy cult. I just can't be credible in her eyes, every word I say is translated into a negative in her mind! The stronger her shunning becomes the sadder & more depressed I become! How dare those ugly cult leaders take my own child away!!!!! Did they give birth to her? Did they raise her, go thru chicken pox, influenza and measles with her, or stay up all nite at the hospital with her! Oh I am so indignant over this I could go on forever!

Celebrating Holidays Should Be a "Conscience Matter"
by Wild_Thing inthe witnesses seem to love to make things a "conscience matter" and then just shame people into doing whatever it is they want them to do anyway.
so, why haven't they done this with the holidays?
there are plenty of scriptures in their own bible they could use to justify making it a conscience matter, yet the last i knew, celebrating christmas was still a disfellowshipping offense.

The whole point for Rutherfords condemnation of any holiday, is control! To keep the rank& file from associating with non jw family. Celebrating xmas or thanksgiving dinner with our 'folks' would be too enjoyable ...we might choose family over watchtower. Our family would eventually wake us up!
