i've been looking on this site for some time but never posted.

i'll give a little about myself, but not too much.

i'm a ex-bethelite ( brooklyn )and currently serving as an elder (10 years) (thinking about stepping down) on the service committee.

MrTheocratic .........great to have you here, your thoughts are refreshing actually!

Being "believer" for many decades & having put my lot in & faith in this so called organization............ I have really felt let down & betrayed, not just by WT, but by finding out a great many members were just pretending all along. While we were not planning ahead, not saving money, not sending our kids to college ...to find out that "the smart ones" were looking out for themselves, investing in everything of this world!!!! Boy did I feel let down & so very DUMB!

So while I am glad for all these people who quietly do their own thing while looking so piously JW ......I now feel even more determined to expose this stinking organization for what it really is and does to people!

Hope you stay with us.

JW Son dead in German plane crash, no big deal!

seems to be a jw connection with the crash after all, but it wasn't the co-pilot as some had surmised.

the father of the only american male killed in the crash weighs in with a very mild assessment of the mass murderer, and doesn't seem overly concerned about his son, now deceased.. ---------------------------------------------------------------- .

Sparrowdown so true. "I found a lot of witnesses seemed relieved when someone died because they felt it meant they were guaranteed a resurrection"

Not only that but they get a huge pat on the back for this "lack of natural affection". It seems to them to show superior spiritual strength.

It is the same when witnesses throw their unbelieving family away....thumbs- up and atta boy and applause for doing these strange behaviors. You can hear the approval for this after the announcements at meetings!

Help needed: Written material regarding shunning of DF'd and DA'd individuals

i would like this to become a permanent thread, because i think there are grounds - at least in europe - to take this matter up to the european court of human rights.

not sure we'll ever get there, but one must start somewhere.

objective: force, by legal means, the watchtower society and the jehovah's witnesses to stop the practice of shunning ex-jehovah's witnesses, on grounds that it constitutes a violation of human rights.. what is needed: all written material ever published by the watchtower society, especially since 1940's, concerning the practice of shunning.

Tony's life story

so i finally read tony's life story and this one point really hit me where he was talking about his son's.

on page 7 he say's "because they made the truth their own, they make susan and me look good.

so those who children leave the "truth" look bad?.

Tony & his pals are just puffed-up goons! Imagine the audacity to claim to be the only ones in the whole world who will go to heaven & to be KINGS no less! And if you don't agree with them ...they will make god kill you! So there...hahahha!

LITS ......I have missed you ...glad you posted this and happy to hear that you are still hanging tough. Like you, I was told not to have children, so I can vouch that this really was said. Actually I was not even baptised yet (1960) What a bunch of crazies!

yes, you heard right.. as you know, most christian organizations publish and distribute little tracts with their gospel message.

well they also make some that expose the lies of the wt, and explain how it is a cult.

even if people are not interested in the "gospel message" in these tracts, the tracts do a good job exposing the wt as a cult.. now, those of you who are now agnostic or athiests or just non-religious, please keep reading, to understand what i plan to do.... i am expecting to receive $$ for christmas.

Epic Discussion ( Confrontation ) with JW Cart People about WT Child Abuse

so i had about had enough of reading jw's excuses online about wt child abuse and the candace conti nightline abc video about her case.

this is a really deep burning topic to me as i'm sure it is to many of you.

so today the gloves came off.

Nice going Flipper ...... they will remember you & talk about it! The old field service experiences ........but it may back-fire, they never know who is looking for a way out ......& investigate!

I am hesitant to start on them when spying the jwcarts..makes me so frustrated with their "programmed responses".

Those poor suckers are out there as targets for anybody to approach them ........their god help them if a nutcase takes out their anger on them, or maybe some furious exdub who let their kid die for this cult!

The dubs are so ill prepared now to even understand the drivell that is being poked down their throats, while at the same time totally exposed to everything standing on the streets with those crazy racks!
