  Earthquake at Bethel...mysterious Bethelite speaks up on significant concerns at world headquarters .

  i know this post will bring out all those who love to criticise and rebut.

  the following information is timely and very plausible.

  in view of recent posts and special announcements to be taking place in the organization i found the following to have credibility.

  #1... promptly without lapse of time many Bethelites will be sent home. Apparently large scale downsizing is instantly taking place. New Bethelites will be the first to go. Those who stay in time will be moved to the Canadian branch or to an upstate New York facility.

  Um, this already happend a couple of years ago.

  # 2... it was emphatically stated that the W.T. org. will be moving out of Brooklyn completely in and around the year 2012.

  Again, this is not a state secret. It's been in the works for the last few years.

  #3... W.T. officials are terribly concerned over the government of Brazil closely examining their shunning practices. They are petrified that other governments including the U.S. will now put them "under the microscope".

  The Borg is always crapping in their collective Depends over some government getting too close for comfort. It's nothing new and has been going on since the days of Charles Russell.

  Is this truly the best you can come up with?

  Has anyone's entire family come out together?

  Jim Penton got his entire family out plus alot from his original congregation in Lethbridge, Alberta when he got the Axe. A few years ago, he gave me a book that he had written that detailed exactly what had led up to his disfellowshipping. I believe that there were upwards of 80 people in his family and congregation that all left as a result of what happened to him.

  Interracial Marriage

  here is a question i want to pose because i do not know the correct answer.

  i have seen many interracial married couples among jehovah's witnesses--moreso than i have seen in other religions.

  however, i have been told that once upon a time, interracial marriage was frowned upon by the wts hierarchy.

  In their defense (and god knows I don't like to defend the Borg), this was the view of society in general a hundred years ago, so the Watchtower was really no different than anyone else at the time. Of course, this begs the question as to why Jehovah didn't shine light on the subject decades before the days of Rosa Parks or Martin Luther King Jr.

  OMG. Blondie, that study article is the epitome of why I am so thankful that I don't go anymore. Utterly nauseating. So full of patting themselves on the back that the only thing apparently missing on them is a red cape and yellow boots.

  GB, Branch Committee members, and Zones Overseers will give special talks!!!

  How exciting! Golly....I wonder what these special talks will be about??!! Perhaps the GB members have switched to super-absorbent Depends and they want to encourage others to make the switch too.

  Matt 19:6 - WTB$ preaches the sanctity of marriage but see what happens when one partner leaves the bOrg!

  mrs punk was not a happy bunny when i announced i was leaving the wtb$ as it was all a big farce.. she has been quite rude to me, she walked out one weekend and came back 2 days later from staying with a relative.

  she told me about all the negative reasons i left (attributing the 'evil' to me and none to the holy 7 headed beast the gb).

  she has told the teenage kids they are not to listen to me.. she refuses to talk bible and gives me the 'talk to the hand sign' on the basis she refuses to listen to my 'spiritual pornography' (now there's an appealing thought!!).

  she has just retired from the "cleaning business" ... she's 76!.

  She believed that the elders and friends would take care of her and make sure she was alright.

  Yep. Just like the Bethelites that were told 30 years ago that they'd "be taken care of" for the rest of their lives if they made Bethel their career. How many of them got booted to the curb a few years ago or downloaded onto the local congregations because they were of no more value to Crooklyn?

  Too many Witnesses make insane decisions based solely on the idea that Jehovah and his Organization will display the true fruitage of the spirit and look after them through thick and thin. Only when its too late do many of them realize they've been had.

  Blondie, I'm embarassed to admit that I didn't know they taught that about Jesus not being the Mediator for the R&F up until 2002 when I did a thread on it. I think it was during the Circuit Serpant's visit and he made the comment that 'some have left the truth because they couldn't accept that Jesus was only the Mediator for the 144,000' or something like that. It totally threw me for a loop as I wasn't expecting that.

  Funny how as an apostate, I know more about the drivel they teach than when I went.

  hi everyone, first i just want to say if it wasn't this forum, i'd be baptized!

  i haven't managed to successfully end my studies with a zealous jw.

  she uses everything against me to brainwash me into believing i need the org.
