Lee, Anyone Who Knows: Blood Card Update?

greetings all,.

i've been absent from the board sofr a few days and may have missed a post or two on this subject; the decision by brooklyn not to issue cards for 2002. as has been acknowledged, the pressure on the gb to liberalize on this issue is enormous, but but brooklyn's dlemma is how to finesse this so as not to precipitate an avalanche of law suits...to do it in the tinest, almost imperceptible increments.. so i ask lee elder or anyone else who may have a cluse as to what's up... is this decision significant?

is it a step in the wts dstancing itself from its current draconian and indefensble ``no blood'' policy?

Hi JT,

At first when I read the name of the post, I thought you were exaggerating. But after reading your post and realizing how many people have been effected by the wtbts and all its glory, I have to agree, the 10,000,000 number maybe way too low. It truly is tragic how some hope and promises have effected people. Besides the outright lies and abuses going on both physically, emotionally and spiritually. How very sad indeed.

I Went in Field Service Yesterday!!

i must say i thoroughly enjoyed doing streetwork for the first time in my life!!.

it was really cold here in chicago yesterday,snow clouds looming in the sky.

about 10 am i decided to run home for my cofee break.. as i rushed down the main street,walking quickly,i saw 2 groups of jw's w/ their mags on the main street near home.. i haven't seen any around my territory since last spring.. humph i thought.. i double-timed it home,bundled up,grabbed my stacks of silentlambs posters and ran back to the main street.. i stood on the corner,several feet ahead of them and started saying hi to passers by.

I think some people are put off by the word "cult". So I like to use the word mind control. That is actually what is happening when people can't use their own minds to make decisions or to live freely as they want to. shhheesh. Freedom of religion, not in the mind controlled wtbts! j2bf

one such facet of that great illusion is that jws are actually proclaiming gods kingdom and teaching people the truth about god and jesus.
