wow, that sounds wonderful.
The only aussie shiraz I've tried is the "yellowtail" ...............but I'm willing to try something that is recommended.
Thanks Ozzie, hope you are recooperating nicely.
it's been a while since we shared our wine tasting notes.
perhaps this weekend is just the right time!
our good navy friends have been keeping in touch from all parts of the globe while i was in hospital, phoning from this or that terminal.

i've been following the tour since 1985 and am looking forward to this year's tour.
armstrong could possibly break his own record of six wins (consequitive) and retire with seven wins in-a-row.
thus far, only indurain has managed even five in a row (1991-1995).
yes
I hope Lance wins but it was great seeing Indurain in Atlanta for the Olympics before he retired. His wife was cute pregnant, too.
I have a hat that Lance signed back in the early 90's when he was with the Motorola team.......wonder how much it would be worth on Ebay.
Anyway, we'll be watching everyday to see how the Tour goes..............go Lance.
i recently gave a public talk, and i really felt bad about it.. it was the public talk about the great flood of noahs days.
the is so much evidence that this great deluge never happened, but that is something you can't tell the audience from the stage.
(i will tell about that evidence if people are interested, but it is a bit off-topic now).
But what can I do? Refuse the talk, and all meeting parts, refuse the field service :) ?
yes
and yes you are right it is not an easy dicision but you are responsible for what comes out of your mouth. And if you promote/parrot the JW thing.....is that how you really want to be?
It is a very hard decision, that's why some decide to fade, but once I learned the truth about the truth(tm) I never commented again, gave a talk or went in service. It is much easier than you think to fake it and JWs don't notice.
Now go practice on your excuses for not telling lies anymore.
btw, welcome to the board. You may find some courage to be yourself from reading the experiences here on this board.
they are adding a second floor to this hall that they have had for at least 40 years.

i started by asking dumb questions .
Arent you proving WTS right whenever you pull a splinter cell/metal gear? Just a thought...
right about what, dingdong Dune? That people have the right to express themselves contrary to just parrotting what the WTBTs says? btw, welcome to the board, Dune. Joy

hey LT, nice avitar. I can't believe you are contributing to this thread.
EvilForce, "Joy....some of those nut jobs are still running around" you don't have to tell me that! That's why I don't go to the ACNM conventions too much.
Richie Rich, it is not unusual for women to bury their placenta's under a tree after a home delivery. Better than putting the placenta in the garbage and seeing the neighborhood dogs go crazy!
Joy CNM of the seen too many crazy births and needs to write a book about it class.

ok, among the lay midwives in the 70's & 80's there was a receipe for cooking placenta. Yes, placenta and oinions or mix it with V-8 juice.

pssst, Scully
I've visited "The Farm" back in the 80's, whooooa, what an experience! I remember one experience there that one lady's placenta didn't "deliver" until 8 days post-partum. Yep, she walked around with the umbilical cord dangling between her legs.
We need to get together sometime and compare birthing stories. lol
(cbs) tuesday, may 31, at 10 p.m. et/pt .
the pretender .
a rising star at the new york times, michael finkel had just lost his job after fabricating a story.
kewl,
thanks for the info.
edited to add: ps, this past sunday's paper here in Salem Oregon, they had an article about Finkle doing a book on Christian Longo called "True Story".
*setting to record tonight's program*
has this happened to anyone else's kids?
my 18 month-old is the only one of my three to ever do this.. he actually stuck 3 of them up there, but i squished the first one out then pulled out the 2nd one with tweezers.
but i can barely see another one way back.
They had to operate on him to remove the peanut from his lung. He got over it ok, but it was pretty darn scary, especially with the risk of infection .
A peanut in a lung is very caustic to the lung.
When our youngest was 18 months he aspirated a peanut (post choking on it). While he was under anesthesia, they saw the peanut through the scope, but when they went to retreve it, it wasn't there. The doctor assumed it flew out when the scope was removed due to the pressure behind the peanut. Anyway, the sad thing was, he went into a severe asthma attack and had to be on a respirator for 3 days. (He was medically sedated) But it took several years for his lung/lungs to recover. Very scary.
Anyway, he is now a very healthly, happy 17 year old training to be a fireman. So babies do grow up and life does go one.
although, i have not been victim to the same level of damage from the wts as many of you on this site, i have noticed that it is very difficult to fight such a large entity with deep pockets and passionate (though misled) supporters.. .
since i am still in the very early stages of leaving/fading, i wonder:.
i have already spent the vast majority of my life sacrificially serving the interests of this org.
