hello all, as you know, when jw tv was announced, our board went wild.

many comments, much speculation and alot of negative feedback on the quality, etc.

well, what has me concerned is that i have not heard a peep from any of my connections left in kingdom-land.

My daughter made the comment recently to my wife and older daughter ... "I don't like it, it looks like The 700 Club" (I smiled inside, couldn't help but wonder if she has been finally visiting this site).

other comments I've seen on facebook about JW TV (lots of likes on these comments, but not many others actually making comments)

Wow. I am literally in tears right now at the love that the Governing Body has for us! Monthly broadcasts from them! The entire Gilead Graduation ceremony! New videos! What an amazing gift!!!

Isn't it amazing??!!!!' We just got done watching it. We have THE coolest organization!!

Doctors and surgeons say no to blood transfusions

my mum recently told me that even surgeons won't have blood transfusions, but the common people don't get told this.

i have also seen or heard others say that a bunch of doctors/health officials/surgeons were asked, at some point, if they would accept a blood transfusion and they all said no.

is this true?

i lived in a boarding house near a library for a few years from age 15 to 18. i spent lots of time reading popular mechanics & popular science.

all the way back to their first issues.

when i heard about the gb's claim, and 1922, i knew that someone before had predicted the cell phone.

i was publicly reproved last year and the elders have taken their sweet time in reinstating my "privileges".

it's been six months and i can't answer at the meetings or participate in the theocratic ministry school.

in all honesty- i don't care about the privileges.

Hi scared ... welcome. So sorry for what you are going through. I have a daughters around your age. When you can get your mind to a place that this religion is just a bunch of craziness, then they will lose the power they have over you. Then, perhaps you can make it a game. Right now hearing the propoganda is probably torture to sit through those meetings, I know it was for me when i learned TTATT.

Realize that this is a game. You don't make the rules ... however ... the more you kiss a$$, the better it will go for you. If you want priveleges back, you will get them, make it a game, be the goodie goodie that they want, while inside you know it's just a game, you play it to your benefit until you are ready to quit the game ... then ... you WIN!

Apparently the GB's love is working. I am wondering if this was all put into play as a result of the Pew report on JW rentention rate of children. Just had to wait for the old guard on the GB to head to their heavenly thrones.
