  Any of you folks from the awesome state of Colorado??

  my wife and i are thinking of moving our family to a better place in the us....away from jw family and out of the southern bible belt.

  just curious how many of you live around co and, more specifically, near fort collins?

  of course, we're open to any city that is less conservative and has awesome summer weather and outdoor activities.

  I'm a thinkin magwitch likes where she lives! Geez you ever think about selling timeshares? LOL

  We've been tossing around a few different areas. Colorado is on our "wish-list". I've also thought about the Pacific Northwest too. Possibly Tennessee if we didn't want to move across the country. It would be far enough away to have a bit better of a climate and yet have all the seasons. My wife still wants some snow on occasion...But I hear Tennessee gets a lot of ice. Don't like that idea.

  The bad thing is the housing market is CRAP right now and we would need to sell our place first, so until then it's simply wishful thinking! But one day........

  it's 9:10 sunday morning.

  i'm dressed already, and just finished rushing through my watchtower a few seconds ago.

  now i need to wait for my ride to pick me up (i couldn't drive yet).

  for my kids. I had to know ASAP if it was the truth, as I would be teaching it to them and it would be their ENTIRE life! Needless to say, my boys saved me and they didn't have to do a thing.

  Slandered At the Circuit Assembly & My Letter To My Mother

  on saturday, my ex husband went on the platform at the one day circuit assembly and slandered me in front of 800+ people.. my jw family is even up in arms because he basically lied and ruined any last bits of my reputation that i had left, the worst part is this was elder sanctioned.. i am really exhausted from all the upheaval so i will get right to the point.

  Sorry, I know that hurts when the lies are told. I did like your letter to your parents. It was very well written and from the heart. I just can't believe they let your ex say those things! Wow....but nothing suprises me anymore.

  I used to be stressed out because of the meetings. I've heard of many people who have migraines, panic attacks and stomach issues that only happen when they are "at the meetings". hmmm......

  Another lie by the WTS ...."apostates" are evil and don't have anyones good at heart! I hope someone can find there way here and see how we who have left really are. Hardly the evil, selfish, hate mongering people that Ex-JWs are painted to be.
