It doesn't take much...
by PSacramento inmy wife and i were watching a movie yesterday.. after i finished working out i came upstairs and she was watching "notting hill" with julia roberts and hugh grant.. we've watched it before and both liked it, her because she likes julia and me because i like british humour.. and the end of the movie the shania twain song "you've got a way" played and i realised the the last time we saw that movie that we danced to that song :).
i asked my wife to dance and there we were, slow dancing in the living room to shania twain.. i looked down at her and she had tears in her eyes and a big smile :).
it doesn't take much to be happy, it really doesn't does it?.

Does this sound familiar?
by PSacramento inhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/woes_of_the_pharisees.
hypocrisy: they taught about god but did not love god - they did not enter the kingdom of heaven themselves, nor did they let others enter.

On the day you eat...
by PSacramento insince it has been brought up a few time, i though it cool to post this interpretation of this part of genesis 2:.
http://biologos.org/blog/genesis-creation-and-ancient-interpreters-on-the-day-you-eat-of-it/.
one issue that occupied the attention of many early interpreters is found in genesis 2:16-17, where god warns not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for on the day you eat of it you shall die.. the problem is well known: adam (and eve) did eat of the fruit, but they did not die on that day.

Individual books of the Bible
by PSacramento indoes anyone know where i can find all the books of the bible but as individual books and not all in one book ie: the bible?.
not commentaries, just the actual books and letters.. the translation kind of matters but i know that "beggars can't be choosers".. .
