i would like as many people that can, to respond to this appeal as i am sure their are many examples out their that may help lurkers and fence sitters to make a decision on where they stand regarding the "truth".

Dubstepped said "Just say fuck off Doubter, and refuse to feed him. It worked with Bobby before him. Don't feed the pedo protectors. They don't deserve your time."
That is excellent advice Dubstepped.

Doubter - "Let me revisit my statement. They didn’t directly thank the guardian after re reading it, they instead said they were grateful it was brought to their attention."
You apologise like your masters the WT did for 1975, Dubter ...
WT - " *** w80 3/15 p. 17 par. 5 Choosing the Best Way of Life ***
... considerable expectation was aroused regarding the year 1975. There were statements made then, and thereafter, stressing that this was only a possibility. Unfortunately, however, along with such cautionary information, there were other statements published that implied that such realization of hopes by that year was more of a probability than a mere possibility. It is to be regretted that these latter statements apparently overshadowed the cautionary ones and contributed to a buildup of the expectation already initiated.
not only does the organization confiscate the hall the congregation owns.
but then the former congregants are told to continue to pay for utilities and they are still responsible for upkeep and maintenance.
so they still have to cut the grass etc.
I can confirm the OP scenario happening across the pond here in the UK.
A nearby old hall had two congs. The hall paid for and sat empty awaiting sale.
One cong dissolved and the funds it had been saving for a replacement hall (£100K) taken by - err donated to - the London branch.
The remaining congregation got sent to another hall and its savings funds (£125K) went to the London branch AND IT HAD TO MAINTAIN ITS OLD HALL until it was sold for over £350,000.
So that's over a half a million pounds of hard saved money/property gone over a couple of years to the FAT CATS in London.

Show a copy of the letter thanking the Guardian please Dubter. I mean Doubter.
Now why didn't they tell the jw's they'd thanked the Guardian?
we all know the big movie villains get a lot of credit and appear in multiple movies - the shark in jaws, darth vader, and before them dracula, wolfman, frankenstein's monster, etc.. but there must be plenty of villains that get forgotten.. i thought clarence boddicker (played by kurtwood smith) was fantastic in robocop (1987) - a real psychopath.. another character who springs to mind is vilos cohaagen (ronny cox) in total recall (1990), i thought he was very good too.. obviously these and other movie villains do get some critical acclaim but they don't get their own franchise and they rarely get universal praise.. maybe 'unsung movie villains' is the wrong phrase but hopefully you get what i'm trying to say!

so serena williams lost the us open final 6-2, 6-4 to naomi osaka, her japanese-american opponent.. williams received three code violations from the umpire, carlos ramos: .
1. a warning for illegal coaching (subsequently admitted by williams's coach).
2. a point penalty for smashing her racquet.
She will start losing more and more. She's certainly a powerhouse, but at 36 she will find the youngsters ten and fifteen years younger will just catch her up. Can't fight nature.
Now she can coolly and gracefully play for another couple of years raking in the lolly and the plaudits like Federer (just turned 37) might but getting beaten more and more, or she can have hissy fits and tantrums.
If the latter then she could just throw in the towel.
in today's wt study, 9th sept 2018, para 14. we learnt that jesus mother, mary, is one of the 144.000 anointed at penticost.
just another classic, we know more than what is contained in scripture..
I suppose it depends whether the "they" in this ...
(Acts 2:1) Now while the day of the Festival of Pentecost was in progress, they were all together at the same place. . .
Encompasses this ...
(Acts 1 v 13,14) 13 When they arrived, they went up into the upper room where they were staying. There were Peter as well as John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bar·tholʹo·mew and Matthew, James the son of Al·phaeʹus, and Simon the zealous one, and Judas the son of James. 14 With one purpose all of these were persisting in prayer, together with some women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brothers.
