  Interesting...where do you think this is headed??

  so, i haven't attended the meetings for many months now - getting close to a year.

  i did attend some of the district assembly, and told the elder in charge of my service group that although i wasn't attending the meeting, i was listening by phone because i'm having trouble with anxiety.

  (true at the time).

  Rate JW's out of 10 compared to other religions.

  so most of us here have been jw's or have read enough to have a decent grasp of the religion.

  while we were there we were told jw's were the happiest, most righteous, best dressed, most polite, helpful people and our religion the purest and most accurate for of christianity in the world.. most here now would say all that probably wasn't entirely true.

  lol.. if you have had exposure to other religions before or since where do you rate jw's overall compared to these religions?

  17 years and I don't expect them to... funny how my mother is married to an elder and now I get no visit from them at my door..... yipppy.....

  I like being shunned - how about you?

  it was painful at first but now i see the advantages of not having needy relatives spending the weekend with me and scoffing my food and raiding my bar.

  my wife is happier too.

  it's like having a heavy rucksack removed.. i have 39 jw relatives and 38 of them shun me along with the army of ex-friends who remain in the tower.

  i've been shunned since I was 15, didn't bother me then doesnt bother me now, I actually love it because I have no tolrence for idot conversations that JW's have. I pass by 4 sisters every morning to the subway entrance and all they do is talk about is how they cant wait for paradise to come and who's going to occupy who's house....i just roll my eyes and keep on walking.....

  Elder got df'ed

  he had relationship with a female jw of the same congo.now that they are both df'ed they are gonna get married and then get reinstated.his ex-wife will have to see the new happy family 2 times every week at the meetings.sweet.

  Can'tleave, my issue is not that he can't remarry... it's the fact that he didn't even wait to grieave, he was so quickly to jump on someone else bones. a normal person would wait a bit.

  you think that is bad.... this one elder who was marriend for years, his wife died in her sleep and no more then 3 months later he got remarried to her friend..... and still kept his privilleges..... sick... really sick...
