  As Bart Ehrman has said, when he teaches his classes, on the first day he asks who are believers? and they all raise their hands and then when he asks who has read the Bible?... not very many hands.
  

  We are all fed interpretations of scripture and maneuvered through the Bible by religions as they cherry pick the scriptures they wish to use for their agenda.

  Religion is a snare and a racket. It is cancer disguised as candy. It is slavery presented as 'works' to control. Faith requires abandonment of logic and reason. It demands you become a liar, that you become intellectually dishonest, and that you accept fantasy and myth as truth and reality.

  As with the Christian Bible, there are many, many different translations of the Qu'ran. Both the Bible and Qu'ran are based on the social system of Patriarchy. And that pretty much says it all.

  i've seen you express the lack of good pro-god ex-witnesses to engage with.

  i don't know about ex-witnesses, but there are a few witnesses who've written on these issues.

  This made me chuckle. And to add to this, I would state there is actually quite a bit of evidence that counters the flood myth. A lot of discussion on this board in the past has occurred on the flood topic. It may have been a localized event; it was definitely NOT a global one.

  Changes and why

  so far these are all the recent changes i know of, please add more if i have missed anything.. 1. all construction projects have either been stopped or reduced.. 2. all bethels are downsizing by at least 20% within one year of the announcement, and almost certainly more in years to come.. 3. remaining belelites will have to make their own food, do their own washing and cleaning.. no more laundry department, no more kitchen and waiters, no more housekeeping!.

  and you still only get 80 per month, but no rent or bills, and food will be provided in the family fridge but you have to prepare it yourself.. as to why, it has been said several times officially its not because of a lack of funds, but how could that possibly be the truth?.

  i mean this with all due respect, i would like to hear from genuine people who think jw have it wrong and then what is the truth?.

  The the Bible is word? No

  If not whats the alternative? Logic, reason, and love. Develop Critical Thinking Skills and adopt a foundational principle of being Intellectually Honest.

  I cant see how any thinking person can believe evolution. Please read a Science book on the topic. A couple that have been recommended by others on this site are: "The Greatest Show on Earth" by Richard Dawkins or "Why Evolution is True" by Jerry A Coin. When I have time I would like to read these. I have personally read "Your Inner Fish" by Neil Shubin and it was pretty good. If you do not know who Neil is, he was part of the team who discovered Tiktaalik.
  

  Is it possible that they are nearest to the truth than any other religions? No. I will cite 2 reasons: 1) Their belief system is based on a factually inaccurate, contradictory, and forged book. 2) They have gone beyond what is written in this flawed foundational document, aka The Bible, and have made up their own ideas/definitions of what is written in the scriptures to the detriment and harm of many people, including my cousin who died refusing a blood transfusion. The social system known as Patriarchy has long outlived any usefulness it ever had, IF it had any to begin with.
  

  For my part Im still going to meetings, some say Im sitting on the fence so Im actually out, fair enough, at least Im thinking for myself.

  I commend you on your willingness to ask questions and think for yourself. Unfortunately, these are not traits JWs are encouraged to possess. I wish you luck in your journey.
