Hilarious! There's a sucker born every minute. I do not get why these frauds are legal. I gotta send this to a friend of mine. He'll love it. He told me about Peter Popoff and his Miracle Spring Water. All of these jerks pray on vulnerable, naive, and gullible people. -

Yeah, I have a message for him.
Tell him that while my parents were hood winked by this organization, me and my brothers, thanks to the public education system, were able to develop enough critical thinking skills to see that the Watchtower turns kind and loving people into mean spirited, holier-than-thou, self-righteous a-holes. None of us, and none of our kids are interested in this karma. Also, the known child abuser that was in my parent's previous congregation is still an active member. There is no way your organization can be of God, chosen by God, nor is directed by God.

I think this is worthy of sending to the ARC.
edited to add: I don't think Botchtower understood what Angus Stewart was talking about when he mentioned the perfect storm of conditions.

As soon as Jackson said "Guardians of doctrine" I had a mental flash of Chris Pratt cranking up his middle finger from the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy".

Angus Stewart commented on Jehovah's Witnesses having "the perfect storm" of conditions for child sexual abuse to be prevalent.
One of the conditions that has been found to be present when child sexual abuse is occurring is repressive norms on masturbation and pre-marital sex.
This advice from Botchtower is making things worse.

During Jackson's testimony, he stated that the elders were "friends" and not paid for what they do, that they perform this role out of love. It jolted me that Jackson would even say this. It speaks to a number of issues and may also be part of the reason why there is such a massive abuse problem in this religion.
As if to say, how can you expect these men to be held accountable or be able to handle the burden of all of this? I felt this was also a pivotal statement.

Women are Women and Men are men in the Real World , apparently not in J.W.`s world.
by smiddy inaccording to j.w.`s the 144000 are a literal number of people , both men and women taken from the earth to rule with christ jesus in the heavens .this would also include judging in this role.
(see another thread about women as judges).
women in the religion of j.w.`s have no place in leadership roles ,cannot be elders , ministerial servants , or serve in any position of authority , and have no teaching voice in any congregation .. yet faithful anointed women can , upon their death rule with christ jesus in heaven for 1000 years according to j.w.

smiddy said: It is also interesting to note the illustrations in the Watchtower publications about the 144000 , they are always drawn as men with beards ,not a woman to be found , why is that do you think .!
This is what happens when you make Patriarchy your foundational, guiding principle.
