so i had about had enough of reading jw's excuses online about wt child abuse and the candace conti nightline abc video about her case.
this is a really deep burning topic to me as i'm sure it is to many of you.
so today the gloves came off.
I think a key question to ask any 'Sister' is this:
If you were molested by an elder or other male member of your congregation would you continue being a Jehovah's Witness and go to the same hall that your abuser goes to?

as i sat through another mind numbing sermon this morning i could not help thinking that the speaker was a total clown.. lime green suit, white shirt, yellow tie, blue socks barely higher than his ankle, brown shoes, and an orange cast.
all that was missing was a big red rubber nose!
and of course everyone remarked what a wonderful talk he gave.

i would maintain that holiness can only come from the attitude of people ascribing something as holy.
holiness never comes from the "holy" object, spirit or humans described as being holy..

here in the united states, on wednesday morning, march 11th at 12:35 a.m., est, barring any breaking news the day before, the program, nightline, will air as their lead story a 9-minute segment about the watchtower (jehovah's witnesses).
the program is 30 minutes long and this segment is only one part of the show.
At work, I stopped using the Standard and Daylight time designations in my documentation as I'd sometimes forget that we'd switched.
Therefore, I now just document AT/ET/CT/PT... Atlantic Time/Eastern Time/Central Time/Pacific Time ... you can't go wrong. ;0)

on opencharity.ca, you can view wtbs canada's financial info and in 2013 they received almost $9 million in donations.
you can even see how much some congregations gave.
Once I took over my Father's finances, the money ceased to flow from his wallet/bank account to Botchtower.
As I go through his paperwork now, I am discovering just how much he has donated to this sham over the years... thousands of dollars!
