of course we share no 'history', since i never had a 'worldly' friend until i left at 48.. in my cyberworld [and some would argue the credence of that] i have found many fine souls with which to commiserate, share, grow.

My wife has a way with attracting low lifes as friends that envy our family lifestyle. I don't know what it is, but I had to tell her, if they make less money than us they can't be your friend. As for me I make friends with the people I work with and when I'm home its all about family time. I'm not to big on having friends.

yup... i got my regular flu shot today (not h1n1).

i also got a pneumonia shot.

The years I have got a flu shot I've found were the years I got the flu. When I don't get a flu shot are the years I don't get sick.

do you think people are smarter today than people living in the 1980's?

sometimes i wish there was internet back in the 80's.

if there was no internet today, i would probably be attending the kingdom hall again regularly, probably reaching out to be ms again then eventually become an elder sometime down the road.

Guess what I found in an old file cabinet in the Garage

a bunch of blank congregation checks from when i filled in as the account servant many years ago.

and, i can copy the po's signature pretty well - lol .

if it wasn't illegal i would make out $1.00 checks to the salvation army, catholic church, homeless shelter (then they would be giving to charity - oh my) .

I wouldn't do that. I went through hell after my wife and I robbed banks through check fraud. To this day I'm still not allowed to have a bank acount.

A couple months ago I was driving up a hill in Palm Springs and my car got hot. But didn't overheat ended up being a radiator with low flow. What kind of car do you have and what are the symptoms? Maybe I can help.
