I have seen my coverage costs( with a major provider) go up and the benefits reduced. They are limiting my coverage and counting those beans. Some things that were previously covered are now being denied. My docs have stopped ordering tests they would have b/c they are being hassled by the insurance co for every thing they order, long waits for payments, and a host of other problems. I read my EOB's and there is a huge difference between what they charge and what they get. My care has suffered as a result. I can't blame my docs, if I did not get paid I'd not work either.

I do not know if they do this very much anymore, ( probably just more covertly) but back as far as the 80's they sure did. It comes under their right to know and their judgment that you do not have the right to know. It is all information control tatics. Old news

Has anyone ever felt they were possessed by a demon?
by dissed init was the "in-thing" to happen to sinners in jesus' time, being possessed.
some could boast they had legions of demons calling their body home.. it was also a primary miracle for the top christians to perform, ridding demons away, proof you had god's spirit.
"be gone you demon!!".

I read that article and it really sounds like the girl had what was once called multiple personality, and they had what is called shared psychosis.

If you were ever an elder or what they consider elder materal they will most likely try and get you back. It mostly has to do with that they think you can do for them--not what they can do for you.

The Gradual Change From Worshiping Jehovah To The Worship Of the Governing Body
by frankiespeakin ini first began my misadventures with jehovah's witnesses in 1972 as a youth(18 years old) and was baptised in that same year.
i was young inexperienced and they caught me at a low point when i was weak and looking for god to solve problems.
being raised as a catholic and going to all the religious indoctrination up to the point of confirmation, i guess you could say i was indoctrinated from birth to believe a certain way which left me vulnerable to the jw propaganda.. fast foreword to the time of my departure in 2001 february.. for a couple of years (late 90s) before i left i started noticing out right lies in the wt publications about their history and the luster that these magazines used to have started to fade rapidly also around that time i really began to notice the gobs and gobs of praise they were bestowing on the organization and the representative members of the so called faithful & discrete slave(gb).

The change in the baptism vows got my attention. I too had noticed the emphasis on the F&DS/GB/Mother etc, but when I saw the vows change it really made it crystal clear for me. We were followers of men, not God. Also, when they declared Jesus was only the mediator for the 144,000 and not the rest of us. I could never wrap my mind around that one.

Walmart Slashing Clothes, Not Prices

Walmart has made some changes . They have gotten rid of some of their best clothes -The Geroge line and Riders ( Lee) in certain sizes . I asked the mananger and no one could give a good reason for this except that is just the way it is now and Walmart was going "Green." The George line is actually pretty nice for a store like Walmart. I'm not sure what " green" ( in this context) means but I have noticed they do not carry some of the brands I used to buy. The prices have gone up so much so that in some cases you might as well shop elsewhere. The usual slashing of prices after christmas did not occur here. Yes they had a lot of the clothes marked down , but usually they slash those prices down to almost give away - the $3-5 range. Not this year. I noted the prices are higher throughout the store on most items. ( example, I like to buy the faded glory long sleeve tops to sleep in. They usually slash them down to $3. This year they did not go below $7).
So I guess they would rather throw out clothes than price them down?

Let the "Tithing" begin!
by The Berean inlast night during the service meeting a letter was read indicating that more money was needed by jehovah's witnesses in order to expand the world-wide work .
it was suggested that each publisher take a piece of paper and write down the amount of money they would be willing to give and hand it to the elders.
it seems to be a cleverway to gather "seed money" by the organization while not calling it a "tithe.

All " real jws" know that the conscience clause is just a legal loophole . As LL said, properly trained jws know that they always err with "mother" and the conscience clause is just to keep them out of court and protect them from evil apostates. If any jws did any of those things they'd be shunned-even if it is/was , a conscience matter. If you are an elder or MS, pioneer or really anyone well known, and you start making the wrong conscience decisions, you will soon be talking to a representive of mother.

Circuit Overseer said from platform ,if you have ever done something and not confessed to Elders...going to die!!
by Lady Liberty injust had lunch with a inactive jw friend of mine who is well on her way out.
she said that when the she went to the kingdom hall the week of the circuit overseers visit, he said from the platform, that if anyone had done any wrong doing in the past, no matter how long ago, and had never come forward to tell the elders, then they would not make it into the new system, but would rather die at armegedon!!.
i guess after that talk the elders were inindated and they began privately, and publically reproving, and removing ones!!

yes I agree with Jeff,
Just shoot me now.
A householder once told me they would rather be dead if only Jw's would inherit paradise. I so understand now.
