on the other hand, i have a jw cousin who i hope never to talk to again.
i have only seen her once in 30 years and that was at my sister's daugher's wedding.

regardless of whether the meeting is for the purpose of shepherding, sharing bible advice,or simply giving encouragement, "she could develop romantic feelings for the elder.it is possible for an elder to develop improper feelings for a sister he is comforting or counseling.
it is especially important never to meet with a sister alone when the sister being assisted has been a victim of abuse, suffers from depression,or for any other reason is in a delicate emotional state.a woman in such an emotional may be more vulnerable and may be prone to develop improper feelings toward an elder meeting with her.

frankly I dont know why everyone is objecting to this. People in close situations do form close bonds. When those people have the potential to be sexually interested in one another, regardless of gender, then sometimes, often in fact, sex is a result. Now myself I find the concept of being upset about sex silly. But the fact remains it is against many religions viewpoints for unmarried people to have sex. So the suggestion to not be alone with a sister isnt unreasonable. And in any kind of situation like that, forget romance, it also makes sense to prevent false allegations.

It is the march in NYC on Sept 27th to bring to the media's attention the foul policies of the WTBTS regarding child molestation
I thnk there are three demands....
1...ALWAYS report allegations to the police.
2...NEVER let them have positionsof authority in the congregation..elders/ms/mike handlers etc
3...NEVER let them go door to door...
that is those who have molested children. Silent lambs can state if those are basically what they want..I thnk they are reasonable

or i can just sorta talk.
