"If an anointed persons' health starts to improve during the GT, this suggests that they are being "marked" to be a Great Tribulation Survivor"
This is classic! I've never heard this before. Wonder what scripture backs this up?
i keep up with allexperts.com, and i noticed an interesting question to "brother rando".
his statement surprised me, and i am wondering if i missed some new light along the way.. question:.
"hello bro rando.

a hilarious stupid wa message is being circulated amongst jws in my area / country.. i had a hearty laugh at the ignorance and stupidity and brainwashed mentality, different people may express different emotions so you have been warned.
day one after armageddon it seems ages since we last heard the gunshots and screams, today has been really quiet.
the last few weeks have been sheer terror.
Two brothers laughed and laughed and laughed when they saw each other. Bystanders asked one of them why he was laughing so much, and when he composed himself he said "I never thought HE would make it!" The other brother was not offended he laughed even more, and later when also composed himself said: "And I think YOU were the least likely to make it here." Neither was offended, they were just glad to be there and they hugged each other with tears streaming down their faces.
This is sad on so many levels. Still being judgmental even in the 'new system'. Guess old habits are hard to break.
So we found a big pickup truck standing in the middle of an intersection. A big burly man lay dead across the front of it, a woman lay dead next to it, we wondered briefly if she was the mans wife. We moved the bodies to the side of the road and started the pickup truck; it started straight away. The fuel tank was half full so we decided we would use it for our search. Brother Jim reached into the glove box and found a handful of CDs. They were all rap and heavy metal so he walked to a rubbish bin and threw them away.
One day they will wish they had those CD's when they are sick of singing Kingdom Melodies....

so they have a manual for protecting workers (to avoid lawsuits), but they don't have a comprehensive child protection policy or manual?.
Well, i guess their priorities are not the same as ours.
"sometimes i think the only thing i could do that wouldn't upset someone would be to kill myself.".
those were the frustrated words of my friend as we stood out in his large yard in the country, just about to enjoy a nice bonfire on a beautiful night.
what was it that could have been a lesser evil than killing himself?
I read your entire post. Yes, it was long but it was worth reading! So much of what you wrote mirrors the way me and my husband felt. The pressure of never being good enough. The changing doctrines and the way family treat DF'd ones.
So happy for you and your wife that you are now 'free'. It is a wonderful place to be and there is so much out there to enjoy. Best wishes to you both.
the roller coaster ride of leaving the jw.org cult..... guilt .
fear.
anger.
long story, short; angelo was bad, he went to prison.
dan was bad, he went to prison too.
dan became a dub and studied with angelo.
A sister was reading her examining the scriptures one morning.............
I was told this very same "experience" at least 30 years ago! Even as a youngster I never believe the story.
Not only because of the previouisly stated reasons but what got me was...how the hell did he know who the sister was?
He hid under the bed the whole time!
i don't know about ya'll, but i did not appreciate the 1980s enough.
i was too busy lamenting how different they were from the 1960s and 1970s to bask in and appreciate how wonderful they were.. this is 80s music, especially new wave music, and 80s fashion and culture appreciation thread.
what did you love about the 80s?
I love the 80's! I went to see Depeche Mode, MC Hammer and Luther Vandross in concert. Culture Club, Rick Springfield, Flock of Seagulls, Michael Jackson, Prince, Jon Bon Jovi were some of my favorites. I met my hubby at school when i was 16 yrs. and he was 17 yrs.
I graduated high school in 1986. No college-never even considered it. And that is one of the few regrets I have in life.
It's funny to see some of the styles that were popular then come back in style today.
share yours, i'll start if off, i have a few i heard from the platform or from other jw's.
one from the platform, a witch was studying with jw's, and she had a relationship with demons/spirits.
when she was studying they turned on her and threatened her if she didn't stop.
I heard one years ago: A woman was studying with the JW's. She had made a call to a psyhic phone line prior to her bible study. When the sister and her companion arrive , they say a prayer before the study starts and all of a sudden---the pictures on the walls start spinning and the TV goes on and off. The woman then admits that she called the psyhic line and talked with them. True story---true in that someone really repeated it to me-ha ha!
i was baptized at the age of 11. like most of us, my commitment wasnt to honor god but rather i was gang pressed into the service of the wtbts.
and, at such a young age, it was impossible for me to appreciate the enormity of my actions.
honestly, how could i possibly have known any better?
I was 13 and very much under the spell. That was way too young to make a life long choice.
in january or february of this year, my father was df'd for viewing pornography.
he was diagnosed with a rare-ish lung cancer in august, it doesn't have good recovery odds.
he had been struggling with a porn problem for awhile, asking the 'brothers' for help.
PTN-sent you a PM.
