  after reading two consecutive posts about people returning to the fold, i have to ask a question... on some level, be it conscious or otherwise, have world events of the past year caused some to reconsider that we are in the "end times"?.

  Do only Catholic Exorcists have real power to expel demons?

  i was having a conversation with someone the other day who had watched the movie unborn and we got talking about the subject of exorcism and apparently, only roman catholic priests have the real power to expel the demons.. have any of you heard of this before?.

  I believe that psychiatrists have the power! However I don't believe in demons so I'm probably not the person to pass comment...

  Anyone from Sweden here?

  hi.. im new to the posting-part of this forum and was wondering if there s any other ex-witnesses from sweden in here?.

  i v been reading a lot of the topics here and i have to admit it have helped me to start seeing the bigger picture.

  it took almost a whole year as a ex-borg before i grew the courage to start reading "apostate" information.

  Well... long story... but I had an email friend in Örebro (ongoing for about 10 yrs) who got me to go to a meeting here in Canada last year... Soon saw it for what it was and here I am I keep hoping he'll get out, but it's not likely... He won't talk to me anymore, I'm a "bad association"

  to the student of ignorance and fear mongering : regarding your proclamation of the end times.. the point is the select signs of the times of the gt as written in the bible could be placed well in any moment of human history.

  for last 2000 years and even be placed with greater accuracy in the middle ages, so when someone reads information from apocalyptic religious.

  cults like the jws who are trying to superimpose fear into people so they will react in the way they want them to react, hence it pays to analise.

  I kind of liked that... It's all very dooooomy & gloooooomyyyyy.... If the whole end of times thing doesn't happen you should consider creative writing...

  Talked with Old High School buddy after 30 years - I apologized

  this was something i was wanting to do for a long time .

  i knew this friend as far back as elementary school, we played tennis together in high school , played music and sang together in his band a little.

  a very nice guy who i was close to until age 19. but because of my jehovah's witness upbringing it changed at 19.. long story short, although my witness parents allowed me to associate with this friend and other non-witness friends, in 1979, my then fanatic witness fiance laid the law down to me that we could not have any non-witness friends at our wedding.

  Mouthy, you can have my invitation!!! Just looking at Awake... On page 6 it says "Make learning a lifelong habit. The Bible puts a high value on "practical wisdom & thinking ability," and it urges us to keep on developing them"... Me smells a bit of hypocrisy...
