It isn't so much their time I'm concerned about. Its the impending doom in store for any fool that gets interested due to their efforts.

Could the WT be doing the "fade"?
by changeling incould they have learned something from lurking on jwd and decided to dismantle little by little?
i mean, no bookstudy, possibly less hours for regular pioneers and now the possibility of doing away with the co...sure sounds like a fade to me... are they hoping the r&f won't notice???.
changeling :).

Yeah, guys we need to shut up about the "better ways to run a cult" and "these are the particular things about the cult that made me leave", its giving them too much good advice on how to preserve the cult.
Lets all start discussing how we love super-long meetings, how we were disappointed that the elders didn't follow us in our day to day lives to get the best sense of how to tell us how to live them, how satisfied we are since we gave up all sex other than missionary through a hole in a sheet.

Bush went to a Mosque. That doesn't mean he doesn't think Islam is bullshit.

Chapter 2- 1975 -Excerpt from the upcoming book, "The Kingdom Hall No More"
by Kingdom Hall No More in"so, the society was putting out that 1975 was the year that this system of things will come to an end, meaning the wicked were going to be destroyed.
discussions at circuit and district assemblies, and local kingdom halls were given.
conversations about 1975 were every day talk.

LOL, the society said "some people" go ahead of themselves in thinking 1975 was a marked date. The "Society" certainly never said so.
You were duped. Scandal bigger than Santa Claus. Very few to nobody even knows about the 1975 fiasco, if they remember they accept the Societies version of events.

Secondly, people on this forum form their opinions by what happens to a handful of people and this that happens is not in line with the teachings of the religion.
Which teachings of the religion? pre-1900, 1900-1925, 1925-1975, 1975-2000 or 2000-2008? The teachings of Rusell, Rutherford, or one of the governing bodies after a governing body was first in control in the latter half of the 20th century?
Perhaps you enjoy Pyramidology? What are YOUR crimes? huh? What are YOUR crimes? (oops, mixed up with Scientology for a moment, easy to do, cults are so similiar)
The people on this forum formed their opinions based on what happened TO US.

HLC Elder questions....
by besty ini am about to post some questions to a local hlc elder that i used to be friends with.
now, of course, we are no longer friends.
i want to post him information from the society's own literature and ask him questions as to why he continues in his role etc .

I'm sick of my instructor so much I want to quit college!!!!
by FreedomFrog ini'm not gonna quit, though i have the strong desire to do so.
we're in week 7 and my grade sucks in this class.
i understand most of it but he is so picky that no matter how well written there is always so many points taken off.

Find out exactly what they are asking for and give it to them.
I find it really depressing, but this is the correct way to think about college. Don't try to be brilliant, do any special learning out of class don't try to expand on things in class, just play the game and get your grade, you can't expect too much more.

Mr. Flipper & Son Hear, See, and Get Footprints of Bigfoot on Pack Trip
by flipper inso, the long awaited trip began for my son and i to return to the same place he heard a bigfoot a year ago in the forests of northern california.
the trip started out unfortunately for us to be a 7 mile hike instead of a 2 to 3 mile hike in to our base camp , as huge snow drifts covered the road , making it even inaccessible for 4 wheel drive, so , with packs on backs we hiked over 50 ft long snow drifts on places on the trail.
even snow was covering one creek near the lake we were destined for .

For him, I have some sure-fire ideas *naughty grin*. For you, I dunno, you're on your own.

must have forgotten to adjust his under-view mirror.....
Seriously, ever sat in an airplane cockpit? one would think when you spend so much money getting the best view you can get, you'd design the airplane so you can see it.
