  I see Greta as someone who has reiterated the same information that others have made many times before.

  The Green movement was well started before she showed up and came into the public limelight.
  

  Someone just called her an autistic idiot , nice such loving warm compassionate people on this forum .
  

  I think she was brought forward by the media because she was a teenager, in a time when global warming has recently taken up public awareness.

  My email to JW Following Trolley Conversation

  a few weeks ago i had an really interesting conversation with three male jws who were loitering around a trolley at the west end of princes street in edinburgh.. i managed to completely avoid giving any hint about my jw past and focussed on why they thought the bible was a reliable moral guide.

  i used the subject of slavery to illustrate my concerns.. one of the three was in his early twenties, knew a lot about his own beliefs but nothing about the real life and it was difficult to get through his thought-bubble.

  the second one was in his 60s and not very bright.

  Religions and their established set of beliefs have been a form of mental and social slavery and many times have been responsible for crippling humanity in improving the life of humans.

  So one teenager who spouts off about protecting the world's environment is worse than a killing plague ?
  

  Keeping the environment clean could also involve the human consumption of animals as a food source which has actually caused deadly viruses to effect humans in recent years.

  I agree though that Greta needs to travel to India and China and spread the awareness of planet's environment to those countries which we are biologically connected to.

  A sick polluted planet makes sick humans.

  The planet is now trying to fight its own attacking virus which humans are deliberately responsible for.
