  “I’m young and healthy so coronavirus won’t affect me” (why we need to stop this disease at ALL costs!)

  even if you are young and heathy there are very good reasons to fear this disease and take drastic actions to avoid it individually, and halt it together as communities.

  not only would it be traumatic as a society to lose so many old and unwell family members and friends, but survivors of the disease may suffer significant health problems in the future.

  survivors of the first sars virus in 2003 have suffered significant lung problems.

  Transmission has been extremely rapid all over the world.

  Don't agree with that comment, its untrue to the facts people who have traveled aboard in the Asiatic region or have come in contact to those who have traveled are susceptible to catch the virus.

  For example to date Canada has had only 176 cases in a population of 37 million.

  These are documented cases not deaths .

  The there is no qestion this can be a deadly virus for some unfortunate few but the wide spread contagious action is not there, not at least in numbers now.

  It will be interesting to see what happens in a couple of weeks .

  i found this video on youtube which correctly explains how religoius cults develop and operate on a psychological and sociological study.. while watching it think of the jws and its general operative behavior.. i think its important to realize many people who fall into cults are usually having some kind unstable problems in their lives looking for answers and relief, the jws are known to exploit people who are under going some personal strife and are venerable to that effect.

  I found this video on YouTube which correctly explains how religoius cults develop and operate on a psychological and sociological study.

  While watching it think of the JWS and its general operative behavior.

  I think its important to realize many people who fall into cults are usually having some kind unstable problems in their lives looking for answers and relief, the JWS are known to exploit people who are under going some personal strife and are venerable to that effect.

  This year we will celebrating the memorial on April 7 , we are requesting all attendees to wear complete protective clothing during the event, this includes all men, woman and children.

  Only the ones who are partaking should remove their respirators and quickly sip the wine and eat the bread.

  Yes this no doubt correctly relates to contagious viruses, those ancient Hebrews were so smart.

  it is best to obey these “superior authorities.” (Rom. 13:1)

  Why didn't they obey the superior authorities when they found child sexaul abuse happening in the congregations ?, child sexual abuse is illegal and a serious crime in most countries.

  Certainly governments are under pressure to act and they are using Wuhan as model for closing down the area.

  Once the numbers of affected flat lines and goes down they will ease up and calm will eventually be restored, this could take a few weeks though .
  

  Personally I'm pissed they closed down the NHL .

  Just to reiterate what Cofty said on this thread and its important.....

  China will need to eradicate their disgusting wet markets and join us in 21st century hygiene standards.

  Yes absolutely the rest of the world's countries should be strongly pushing for restrictive controls for businesses like wet shops that sell live animals of various kinds who were caught wild and sold for either food, medicinal purposes or pets.

  Lets assume that it was just one single shop like this in the open market place in Wuhan that started this virus, add the total lives lost, the damage to the world's economy and it makes for something quite clear .

  I think at this point people are starting to take it seriously, with a lot of sporting events stopped, some school districts closed, some businesses are temporally closing, the business sector retracting, Wall Street taking a down turn..

  Mind you I dont think we should lock are selves up in are homes like caged animals.

  Keep the fear in check is what I'm saying, this isn't the Bubonic plague of the 14th century.
  

  I do think we should take caution of where and what we do in are daily lives, keep active such going to a park, perhaps start a new hobby at home, but we should have a sensible approach to the matter such as washing are hands and face 4 or 5 times a day when we are out in public places like shopping malls, places of work and other social gatherings.

  The propagation of fear is what the WTS uses to stimulate the distribution of its own published literature.

  People who aren't educated enough will actually be susceptible to this supposedly supported by the basic belief in the bible .

  One thought to keep in mind, J Rutherford proclaimed himself to one the anointed as many of his close associates at the Watchtower Corporation.

  He built an luxury home for himself to live in and did so, while separated from his wife he lived with his mistress, driving around in the most expensive cars at the time, bought and drank illegal booze and lived like a rich celebrity.
  

  Does that sound like someone who is full of righteousness as an anointed one ?
