  The Watchtower is doing a dance. ( a bad one at that ) They don't realize that Bill and Silent Lambs are not going anywher

  Sooner or later thay will deal with this issue one way or another either through government inquiry or public exposure.

  All UK CO's and DO's recalled to London Bethel

  an emergency meeting has been called by jack dowson at london bethel.

  all co's and do's were recalled yesterday and are meeting at 2pm today in bethel (most have left the visiting congregations in limbo.

  the meeting is today(starts at 2pm), tomorrow and finishing on friday at 12 noon.

  Dateline wants to cover the March Sept 27

  the producer from dateline called us to make sure we would be at the march on the 27th.

  they are sending a film crew to cover it and i hope there will be a nice turnout to represent all who have had watchtower imposing silence of their sexual abuse.

  they may do a follow up to their earlier program that aired last spring.

  APPEAL COMMITTEE CALLED OUR LAWYER

  our lawyer contacted us to let us know the appeal committee phoned her to let her know that they were upholding the decision to disfellowship us for "apostasy".

  the elder also stated that we may "qualify for re-instatement after performing certain acts--which we are aware of".

  eww, sounds kind of seamy to me.

  That was very powerful and emotional, I felt so much sorrow as I read it. It takes a lot of guts to share your traumatic story.

  I applaud you with deep respect for stopping the cycle of abuse. You are a man of dignity and honor.

  I'll be at the march on the 27th showing support for all those who have suffered at the hands of abuse.

  I'm Upset and Annoyed

  my brother (raised a jw, never baptized, not a jw at all) and i were talking this morning, and he informed me that our grandmother - our last living grandparent - is very ill. it sounds as though she will die soon, because she stopped taking her insulin and all other medications.

  my mother informed my brother after receiving a phone call from her brother/my uncle.. i'm the only one of my siblings who was not informed directly by our mother.

  out of all my siblings, i'm the only one who was baptized as a jw and then left, so i'm thinking this is par for the course with being shunned, although my grandmother was never a jw herself.

  I got a call last october from a hospital social worker stating that my uncle was in the ICU unconscious and that they needed me to sign documents for medical procedures. Well come to find out, my family knew that he was in there since september. They didn't tell me nothing. It wasn't until my family ( who are all jehovahs ) wouldn't sign the consent forms ( their conscience bothered them ) did i find out he was even sick. I know where your coming from on this.

  It's a hard call. Do what your heart says.

  i was really drawn to the 'truth' and after much trial and tribulation i was baptised in 1991 during a lethbridge assembly.
