Hey Snakes in the Tower my wife wants us to confess our sins. Why not be in charge of our judicial commitee? I like the idea of not being asked a bunch of nosy questions. We did the humpy hump, big deal, give us our private reproof and let's all get on with our lives. Or better maybe my wife could be more like me and not give a rat's ass anymore.

sex before marriage in the borg
by heyfea in(i don't know if i posted this already, since i got errors every time i tried) .
do you think that a lot of engaged jws have sex before getting married?
i think so, only a few fall into the guilt trip after they're married, and ultimately confess.

I am good friends with two guys who fit this description. They've both done all they can for the Borg. They've both had chances to date women but never have. Neither one acts gay. I think they are both good as gold. But why they don't get involved with a woman is beyond my understanding. By the way, both guys are black. And no they don't live in the same city.

$10 gas
by JimmyPage inmy father-in-law heard from someone who has connections with the higher-ups that the society thinks gas will be $10 a gallon in january.
i'm "bookmarking" that statement on my calendar.
if january comes around and gas isn't $10 i'm going to remind him of "what the society said".

After all, without the encouragement of all you evil apostates I would probably still be manipulated by feelings of fear and guilt. This website is awesome and I truly appreciate everyone's input!

I can't believe no one's mentioned the difference between Pharisees and Sadducees. The Sadducees didn't believe in a resurrection, and this made them "sad, you see." SAD, YOU SEE? Get it? HAHAHAHAHA! Oh boy that never gets old. Ugg.

I found some truly evil people in "the world" but I also found people who were more righteous and loving than many Witnesses. I guess "the world" is just like "the Truth" in that there are some really good people and some really bad ones in both. So it comes down to humanity as a whole: we all have the capacity for good and bad.

There was a time when I would have said no. A strange experience changed my mind. I was on a cruise ship with a girl and we were fighting. It was turning out to be the worst vacation ever. I walked into an elevator the next morning and met someone who changed my life. Her brother, who believes in reincarnation, later said that he thought his sister and I had been married in a former life. I've never felt as happy as when we were together. And though we are apart now I believe someday we will find our way back to each other.
