Does it not dawn on the cart witnesses?
by jambon1 ini sat in town recently, right in the window of a nice wee pub.
within minutes i realised that i had a perfect view of a jw cart and the two ridiculously dressed jw's (they have absolutely no individuality at all.
what's more, they all look like they're going to a funeral).

meeting with elders about WT involvement in UN
by LevelThePlayingField ini still go to the meetings because of my in wife and it came about that the elders knew of my pissed off attitude about the society getting involved in the un.
so the elders said they could help me get over that and wanted to meet with me.
now just to let you know, i have only told my wife and her mom so far about it, that's it.

I wouldn't waste yours or their time, they wont know anything about their UN membership and the meeting will simply boil down to loyalty to the "mother" carry on reading and researching though, jwfacts has excellent coverage of the membership and the generic letters from the UN themselves, they will lie, try to excuse that even if they did join it would have been in error/accident or the whole thing is lies spread by evil apostates.

I spotted that as well Searcher, what an irrepressible, stupid, pompous thing to say when the exact opposite is true, stupid woman. Its the second report of hearing how warm it is inside the hall, I'm presuming they have some sort of generic air handling system being used in these new builds, in other words sweat your nuts off.

where have the demons gone?
by aboveusonlysky indoes anybody remember some of the sensational demon stories jw's would tell back in the day?
i was a kid in the early 80's and i remember a few times hearing of people having real life encounters with demons.
for example, one sister claimed that before she became a jdub she would regularly talk to demons and they would even fix stuff like her washing machine!

thanks Ten, if we were to wait until the official books are released by CP, we'd all have long grey beards.JeffT if the copyright holder/official publisher had been a bit more efficient in making these books available for general purchase they would be no need for these unofficial sources, every day they delay the more chance there is for these unofficial versions and a good job to, its a debacle that its still taking so long.
