  this graph charts national responses to the statement, "human beings, as we know them, developed from earlier species of animal," and show some strange bedfellows.. .

  as you see, a huge majority (70% and higher) of western europe people surveyed, accept evolution (in some form).

  i have been brought up a witness all my life and it is all i know.

  i am an ex-elder and pioneer and i don't know anybody outside of the congregation.. i have been unhappy for so long and wanted to leave.

  Well if you are afraid of being left all alone and aren't afraid of a similarly I intense Abrahamic religion, you could convert to Islam. I say this not as a believer, but as a truly jaded individual who happens to know that you get paid money when you convert to offset the consequences of being disfellowshiped by the community that you left behind. I know of no other religion that is similarly generous.

  the netherlands has recognized the church of the flying spagetti monster as an official religion !!.

  i am so tempted to join it openly, and see what the reaction of the jw's is, surely they should df me for joining another religion?.

  Theos and theon

  this guy was trying to get me to agree that theos and theon were different words for god.

  i tried explaining that other languages have grammatical cases and the difference between calling god theos and theon was like the difference between referring to god as he(the subjective case) and him(the objective case.

  Have you ever read anything written by a neopagan where they give call a minor Deity in their Pantheon a God? I never said that it was wrong to translate it as "a god" but my assertion that theos and theon were the same word nearly made his clean-shaven little head explode.

  Opusdei this guy was just a tool. He kept on wanting me to agree with him that Theos and Theon were as different from each other as God and "a god". I am a serious believer in coequal hypostases though. My baptismal name is Wolde-Selassie (Born of the Trinity). I couldn't agree with him and of course I relish in being labelled by my wife as an opposer. Bad guys are the sexiest.
