It's very difficult to know that my mom is suffering. "You are dying spiritually", "you can't stop going to the meetings", "I want to see you in the New Order"... It breaks my heart.

She's 67 yrs old, and she has been a Witness for more than 35. Who am I to kill her hopes at her age?

It's really painful for us. But, from certain point of view, is not her fault, and it's not my fault.

I still find this fascinating.. ---- Incredible, huh?!! The letter mentions ("between the lines") that an Elder that promotes higher education for their kids is not complyng with the Elder's requirements! Whatever... TTRP

I have a lot of relatives, and many of them are kind of unknown to me. Is not that my parents kept me away from them; the problem was that I never draw close to them, because they were "wordly".

Now, I will like to really meet them. I've found many cousins in Facebook! :)

My 5 stupid reasons to stay inside of the bOrg:

1) Where else I would find a submissive wife?

2) Because the FDS was appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time in 1919, when Jesus came to inspect all religions, after being crowned king in 1914...

3) Because we live in a Spiritual Paradise...

4) Because the GB cares so much about us, that they eliminated 1 meeting per week... and that means that the Big A is coming!!!! Soon!!!!

5) Because my lawn service is run by a Witness!

As I mentioned in a past thread, (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/161647/1.ashx), I met Ray and Cynthia during the weekend!

I went to their home with my wife. I needed to meet them in person, in order to have a real picture of them. Let me tell you: We were impressed. They are very humble people!

Every question I asked Ray, he answered it using the bible. I didn't noticed any bitterness towards the WT.

Ray is walking very slowly because of his age. (He's 86 years old right now). Cynthia is having a catheterization procedure today. I'll try to contact them during this week, to see how she's doing. But both of them were in a very good mood. They looked happy.

Both are great human beings. We shared some stories, and Ray even showed us a very very old photo album!

We spent about 3 hours with them, and Cynthia gave us cake, snacks, etc. We really enjoyed our time with them.

God bless them both!
