I hope it get's past their mind numbed, newspaper media brains. Though maybe they know that nobody really cares and they're just filling paper with ink because hardly anyone reads the newspaper anymore. For that matter, hardly anyone cares about the Jehovah's Witnesses nor are they interested in what they are doing for their weekend summer vacation.

When people get educated, it is much harder to fool and control them.
Which is why I don't understand why they haven't founded there own institution of higher learning (JWU) or they could call it "Rutherford University"
that way they could control what people learn and still keep them in their control

Out with the old....
by wha happened? ini purchased a condo late last year and due to my personal schedule, i wasn't able to redo it to my preferance until a few months ago.
all the heavy work is done.
now just replacing electrical outlets, fixtures and such.

years ago, I took all of my boxes of old WT books and magazines to a KH nearby and stacked them in front of their door early one morning.
On top of the boxes I attached a large piece of paper with the scripture from Eccl "to the making of many books there is no end....."

Never, never ever.
And we were pillers in the cong. I was an elder and PO, my wife was a support to those that had problems and I provided good jobs for some who would have had to struggle.
But I don't care and at this point in my life, would not want to see or get involved with any of them. I have moved on.

Flashback to the sixties Seatle
by Tater-T inso while making a you tube video of my dad today, i came across this in a dvd of home movies from way back, i didn't even know about it... originally shot on super 8 film, shot off screen with camcorder in 1992, with open mic, transfered to dvd in 2010 .. made to you tube in 2013.... check out the food service, without paper plates no less .. it's only a couple minutes on convention then, a little seatle conventions were a family vacation when we were growing up ... .

i'm just scared to take the first steps, because i don't know any "ex's" in my neck of the woods, and i'm very scared of loosing my family.

It sounds like the best thing you can do is take it slow and start a gradual fade. Depending on your circumstance, you could fiegn some sort of malady like depression or anxiety. These work well because so many of the rank and file witnesses have either or both of these.
My fade was based on my high blood pressure which I did have while on the watchtower wheel (two BP medications per day) down to one small med now and now BP problems.
Depending on how close you are to your family this tactic may very. Use your imagination on what excuses you start to use for missing meetings.

I think my wife is going to open the can of worms...
by sosoconfused inso over the last 5 - 7 months as some may know i have resigned as an elder and just came to a cold stop going to the meetings.
brothers call i wont answer the phone.
if they come by i just wont answer the door.
