I would prefer not to have these wastefests at all. They give nothing but spiritual pollution, and you have all the restrictions and dress codes as if you were at the coronavirus hall. The material they teach is rubbish. I don't care if everyone is in perfect health. If too many people use that bible, they won't be for long.

A Question: How About Praying for -or Including a Mention of - Covid-19 First Responders?
by Room 215 inhow do you think the congregation would react?

It matters not if someone high up gets coronavirus and is saved by expert medical care. They will not thank those who took care of them--they view people as potential jokehovian witlesses, and nothing else. Better someone that obeys than someone that is not one of those jokehovians, even if this worldly person is able to totally annihilate coronavirus without using RFID chips or draconian lockdowns.

July 2020 Watchtower - A little observation
by Listener inthis is a comment made in the latest study watchtower under the main discussion of humility.
11 jehovah values humility more than ability and unity more than efficiency.
therefore, do your best to serve jehovah with humility.

Joke-hova values stupidity, inferiority, and suffering along with mindless obedience more than it values anyone that is capable of doing anything really useful.

Don't forget to donate!
by neat blue dog inthe lucrative events otherwise known as assemblies and conventions are cancelled, which i'm sure has hit the wts in the pocketbook a little.
so the newest article on jwdotorg reminds us all yet again of the online recurring donation feature that takes credit and debit cards.. https://www.jw.org/en/news/jw/region/global/making-electronic-donations-in-view-of-covid-19-precautions/.

It should not only be "how much are you able to donate", but how much do they deserve? I donate nothing to this rotten communist organization even without an emergency--without an emergency, I put money into silver so that, when the dollar becomes toilet paper, I will be prepared. But, with this crisis, how many people are getting no or limited income? Unemployment is very slow to come, and many stimulus checks where a paper check is required are not going out until September (direct deposited checks should have hit during the week of April 15).
In the meantime, other bills do not stop. True, you will not be evicted or have your electricity turned off for non-payment during this emergency. But, that is a deferral, not a cancellation, of such debt. When the emergency ends, you will still have to come up with the back rent (although you will not receive late fees for it) and your electricity bill (again, they will not add the usual late fees). Eventually, you will need to pay it off or you will be evicted and/or have your electricity cut off.
And supplies? I wonder how many jokehovians prepared in January or February, when you could get your toilet paper or hand sanitizer in virtually unlimited quantities. Are they getting ready for the famine caused by plant closures or government red tape? Already, several meat plants are closed down. Farms are not being planted, not for bad weather but because it is not deemed "essential" by out of touch politicians. And, once the food is gone, the only way to get more will be to accept your coronavirus vaccine (which has a higher chance of causing serious sickness or death, including long-term disability from the chemicals added to it) AND YOUR MICROCHIP.
Right now, instead of donating to the washtowel, you should be planning ahead for this famine. We already saw toilet paper and sanitizer shortages. Those are going to look like nothing once food shortages come into the stores from all these plant closures and farm stoppages. How many cans of meat do you have right now? I know there is a limit, usually of 2 cans per shopping trip, and it is irresponsible to take the last can when 50 others also need it when you do not urgently need it. But, that is better than not having it at all. What about grains and legumes? Rice is popular, but there are other grains (they are, however, more expensive). Or vegetables? Canned fruit? Simple items like canned soup or peanut butter? As with canned meat, there are limits on these products. But, once the shortages hit full force, those limits will be zero.
Yet, they are being ordered to waste food money on stupid things like donations? To an organization that only spreads communism? Prior to this year, I was big on advising to stock up on silver. But, with the coming food crisis that is going to make this past toilet paper shortage look like nothing, non-perishable foods that offer protein and calories, along with decent amounts of vitamins and minerals, is the new "silver". You will be that much better off once the shortages hit full force, and instead of begging the government for food in exchange of getting your vaccine and RFID chip, you have some in storage. Yes, money is tight. But, if you have money to donate to a foul organization, you have money to buy food.

COVID-19 - Would It Work to Allow People to Sign Away Rights for Treatment Like JW's Do for Blood?
by RubaDub inpeople want to get back to work, back to "normal" in many cases (whatever normal now means).
even trump is encouraging protesters in 3 states.. but with the covid-19 thing, this is not just a matter of a person taking a risk, as a person may do who smokes, takes illegal drugs or in other ways lives an unhealthy lifestyle.
in general, most (not all, since cost of insurance and public hospitals may be involved), but generally you are not putting the lives of others at risk.

We should have the right to protest peacefully (under the constitution). We should take reasonable precautions to prevent spread of diseases, and not just this coronavirus. Do you wish to go to a large gathering to contract tuberculosis instead? Or hepatitis C? Or typhoid? As for comparing to other dangerous lifestyles, we already have laws against drink driving. We have the right to drink, and I will not judge someone for drinking. But, drink driving--you do not have that right. Neither do we have the right to recklessly spread diseases in the name of protest.
And yes, having more signage and props allows more distance between protesters or between protesters and the public. Last I knew, you cannot spread diseases using bullhorns and picket signs--and it is possible to have a mask that encourages patriotism and adherence to the constitution. For instance, a mask that is red, white, and blue and that comes with a placard with your message--and a microphone connected to a bullhorn that broadcasts your speech. That would make more sense than deliberately and recklessly defying means to limit spread of disease.
On the other hand, I feel that it is worth some increase in disease transmission to prevent communism. Which will kill far more people than coronavirus, or even tuberculosis, can. And the risks of allowing communism are far worse. With coronavirus, there is a good chance of not even getting sick and another good chance that it will be just like a cold. Yes, you could transmit it to someone else that will die from it. But, if they use it as a blind to institute 5G, RFID chips, and total communism, there is no chance for anyone to have no or mild impact. Everyone will be seriously impacted, and most will die from it. Including those who would have died from the coronavirus, which means you protected no one.

Should You Be Required To Wear A Coronavirus Mask?
by minimus insome towns require everyone going outside to wear one.
one massachusetts city requires anyone from 5 up to wear a mask.
some cities require masks and have shut down parks and sports playing while others in a nearby town have no such restrictions.

Most masks do little to protect you from getting the virus (or, for that matter, any other cold or flu virus). At best, they might help prevent one from spreading it. Which will do little good if someone touches something and someone else touches the same item and then has no soap and water or hand sanitizer. And, they will cause worse problems in hot, muggy weather. Besides, what about molds and fungi that grow inside the mask? That is worse than the coronavirus, with many strains of molds capable of causing lasting lung damage that spreads through the whole body if one is in prolonged contact with them.
There are masks that do offer better protection. Usually, they are tight fitting, restrict your breathing, and cost an arm and a leg plus are hard to find. I suggest reserving those masks for those who are highly vulnerable and those who must work in close contact with people that are at high risk of carrying this, or some even worse, disease. And, what about wearing masks to protect against tuberculosis, which is far worse?
What I see is that this is not just about health. They are going to keep this mask requirement until a vaccine (and a microchip to prove you had it) becomes available. You will then need that vaccine and the RFID chip to be able to enter any public place or to work. We will have 5G to connect those chips to your life, making sure we have total compliance with the dreaded Noahide Laws (which, to me, make coronavirus seem like a mosquito bite). We will have the social scores common in China, but far worse--and it will be "Off with your head!" if you break one of the 7 laws in that piece of rubbish. Obviously, once the vaccine is in place, you will still need the mask until you have the vaccination--and, after the transition period, the mask will no longer be "enough". You need the shot and the chip.
And, anyone smart enough to ask "Why don't we have mandatory vaccinations with RFID chips for things like Hepatitis B, tuberculosis, and typhus?" will be among the first to get their heads chopped off. (Under Noahide laws against blasphemy.)

And the solution is to give away all your money to some greedy entity that works to enslave all of us? And waste all of our business-creating, food-buying time spreading coronavirus door to door? They are part of the problem, not the solution.

And why not start a business to manufacture items that are being throttled by the big companies? True, they have virtually all the description terms describing their products trademarked to restrict the competition (this needs to be put to a stop--they need to have people countersuing for using this to throttle production of vital products). I mean "Select A Size"--all the synonyms are trademarked? They need to punish the companies that are throttling production of these products by allowing these description terms on the public domain and countersuing the big giants for throttling production. Maybe then we will get toilet paper and paper towels back on the shelves on a permanent basis. If Kleenex goes out of business for this, so what.
We need these products back. How many companies make bleach? What about hand sanitizer? Disinfectant wipes and spray? How hard is it to make 91% isopropyl alcohol? (That is what rubbing alcohol is.) Even dish soap, laundry detergent, and regular soap is getting hard to find, long after the panic buying and hoarding has subsided. And, if Proctor & Gamble doesn't like it, too bad. Lysol and Clorox also need a painful lesson that, if they don't produce their products to replenish the shelves, someone in a garage is going to start making them and putting them on our store shelves. If they are as good as the big brands, these big companies might find themselves out of business. And I wouldn't mind seeing a new era where there are 80 brands of soap that are actually made by 80 different companies.
And Walmart? They can try bullying everyone by not carrying said products. I wonder how long it will take Walmart to go out of business if their toilet paper and hand sanitizer shelves remain empty because they refuse to buy from independent companies that refuse to sell out, while all their competitors and small shops have plenty of disinfectant spray and hand sanitizer. Will customers continue shopping Walmart for empty shelves if stores like Publix, Wegmans, Raleys, and smaller independent stores that could become the next Wegmans or Publix have plenty of these items with stable supplies and no purchase limits?
Yes, there are plenty of business opportunities--and they need to make an executive order that enforces antitrust laws already on the books. No more using trademarks to prevent independent businesses from displacing Kleenex, Lysol, and Proctor & Gamble. No more having Walmart dictating who gets to sell products. It is time for small independent businesses to start creating these essential products, providing jobs for those working in those areas. And while they are at it, start working on generic drugs to treat these viruses, along with supplements that actually work to prevent people from getting sick. Yes, it is harder to produce a zinc formula that works than a hand sanitizer. But again, they need to lose patent protection on our key nutrients so the smaller entities can get in so we can have zinc and vitamin C back on our shelves instead of decades- or centuries-long shortages.

I am agreeing with Trump on the need to Nationalize issues that affect the entire nation.
by RubaDub ini'm generally not a trump fan but i do agree that things that affect the entire country should be handled in a centralized manner.
trump is stating that he will dictate when the states can open up again.
many governors, dems and reps, are fighting that saying that they have the power, not the president.

And what about enforcing laws already on the books? Such as laws against companies that collude and create ongoing shortages of critical supplies so they can have us under martial law and RFID chipped? There are only three paper companies that collude to create ongoing toilet paper, facial tissue, and paper towel shortages. Hoarding is responsible for creating the shortage, but these three companies are responsible for keeping it going. And their PR videos documenting (using outdated footage) how they are making more mean nothing. If they are making so much toilet paper and facial tissue, why don't I see more on the shelves?
This problem is everywhere. How many companies are responsible for ALL of our bleach, disinfectant products, hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, and general cleaning supplies? Why are they not putting more on the shelves? People panic buying and hoarding may have created the shortage in the first place, but these companies have put all their efforts in displaying months- or years outdated footage of production lines instead of putting products back on the shelves. People do not have the money to waste eternally buying toilet paper, bleach, and disinfectant products. Once they get their 20 packs of toilet paper, where are they going to put the 21st pack? And where are they going to put their 51st case of bleach or disinfectant spray?
We already have the law on the books to break up these collusions. They need to be enforced.

I wonder how well Zoom will do once the whole Internet gets taken down and 5G comes in to monitor us all to make sure we are all in line.
