Fe2O3Baby has arrived
by Fe2O3Girl inour son william grant was born last wednesday 2/11/05 at 20:43, weighing 9lb 2oz (4140g).
we are both really well.. it wasn't the birth experience i had hoped for - on my long list of things i didn't want to happen, the only things i avoided were induction, pethidine, episiotomy (i pushed too efficiently, no time to do it!
) and caesarean.

russell gray is suing the 20,000 per year private school that expelled his son after nearly 400 infractions of school rules in two years.. his son, rhys, must be a real little academic star, as he managed to achieve about the same results in his gcses as i did in my o'levels.

How do you interact on the board?
by Fe2O3Girl inhow do you use the board?
do you bother reading people's posts when you start a topic, and acknowledge their response?.
do you read all the posts on a thread when you post to see if someone has added more details, or already posted what you would have said?

Invisible Pink Unicorn's Nemesis????
by Fe2O3Girl insince so many misguided people don't acknowledge the wonder, beauty and magnificence of the invisible pink unicorn, i was wondering if she has an opposite number?
any deity worth it's salt ought to have, indeed has to have, an enemy to blame stuff on.
any nominations?

The Unwritten JW Law
by Fe2O3Girl init is clear that there is no scriptural basis for disapproving of facial hair, coloured shirts or women wearing trousers at meetings or while preaching.
some of these rules seem to be regionally variable, but i think the rules on women's clothing are the same everywhere.. my question is - has there ever been any specific comments on any of these type of rules in any watchtower publication, ever?
and if not, how do we all know the rules?.

What books have made you cry?
by Fe2O3Girl inbonus points if you don't mention wt publications!!
the first book that ever made me cry was the grapes of wrath by john steinbeck.
most recently, i was reduced to a blubbering wreck reading the five people you meet in heaven by mitch albom.
