Why weren't the rebellious angels destroyed?

nearly every living thing is drowned to death because of the badness and general mischief going on during noah's day.

why aren't the angels who materialized bodies and fathered a race of giant, violent freaks destroyed as well?.

i know that they, presumably, left their bodies just in time to escaped the flood, but that shouldn't be enough to escape the wrath of almighty god.. it's interesting that the genesis account says very little about them.

I took a similar line in a post some time back " Is jehovah a just God"??? Satan and his angels have got away scot free for rebelling against the "Almighty"( never mind saying their judgement is coming in the future ) what pain or suffering have they experienced since their rebellion?? compared to what humankind have experienced these past 6000 years ???!!Bugger all.Satan,or his demons , weren`t even cast out of heaven,Jehovah`s realm as indicated in Job,until 1914 according to jw`s interpretation.So the scales of justice are heavily weighed in favour of the likes of Satan and his demons.

MY BLOODY OATH But ,hey that was the best thing that could have happened to us,because it gave us a chance to sit back and analyze what it was all about..We had a family crisis that was devastating to us and was known to all in surrounding congs. ,and I approached a couple of elders to get a meeting with a c.o. who was due to visit our cong.in a couple of weeks.The reply I got was the c.o. doesn`t get involved in personal problems,however you could put your name down to work with him in the field service,and bring it up with him their.... JESUS CHRIST!!!Have they no empathy?! ! !???Our family were treated like lepers.....It`s true, when a crisis strikes you find out who your freinds are.....In hindsight it was the best outcome

Bro. Dale Irwin passed away

bro.

dale irwin, former city overseer of brisbane (australia) passed away yesterday morning.. a memorial service is being held this coming friday at the brisbane assembly hall.. dale was a much-loved witness here in brisbane and a wonderful public speaker.

he was briefly famous in the early 80's when he and his wife became parents of quadruplets.. sincere condolences to the irwin family...... .

I was in S.E. QLD during the time the Irwins gave birth to the quadruplets,and I remember him giving a talk at our k. hall,though I never knew him personally. However I can sympathise with those who knew witnesses.... ,what I would call genuine people ...who truly beleived what they were taught.... ,by the FDS,.... and genuinely tried to help people.I have fond memories of a few...,because of their genuiness,and sincerity

Is it disrespectful to call GOD by his name JEHOVAH?

calling our god the creator by his first name jehovah takes alot of nerve.

my 10 year oll son doesnt walk around calling me by my first name.

this is a question that always puzzled me when i was a beleiver......in gen.chapt.6 where the sons of the true god began to notice the daughters of men and began taking them as wives,producing the nephilim,a hybrid race man/angel,the men of fame,what exactly is the difference between a created human being as in adam,and a materialised being??

i was given the brochure the divine name that will endure forever, and was pointed to page 20 which is entitled "hostility to god's name?".

it says that the word jehovah was originally in the hebrew scriptures but was taken out.

Jesus is the anglicized version of his name ( first century jews didn`t speak english )" yesuous" or something similar was more likely the way his name sounded, in the original language of the day , and since the bible has been printed ,jesus is the way it has been published in english which is the most popular way of expressing his name,and that is basically the same argument jw`s use for adopting the name jehovah,while admitting it may not be the exact pronunciation used by the high priests.See the first edition of "Aid to Bible Understanding"under the name Jehovah.

The fact that the IBS as jehovah`s witnesses were known in Russells day beleived that jesus invisible presence began in 1874 (not 1914) and didn`t change that date untill the late 1930`s (and all this was proved by bible scripture according to them ) doesn that ring alarm bells???If jesus inspected the religions of the world in 1919, according to jw`s wouldn`t he have noticed that the witnesses were saying he was present (over thirty years) when he was not???? Why do you beleive jesus inspected the religions in 1919??? and found the IBS to be the only ones that were faithfull and discreet???? when in fact they were not???the watchtower says so???? Why do you beleive the watctower?? because the watchtower says so!????!!!Where is their any corroborative evidence of that??? See how you have been conditioned???You cant have your own questions,they have been provided for you,and so have the answers been provided for in their publications that is a form of manipulation where they control your thought patterns.The catholic church beleives the pope is the vicar of christ on earth.catholics beleive that,you don`t. why would any one beleive jesus chose the international bible students/jehovah`s witnesses when they were teaching error???for so many decades??? please do yourself a favour read Don camerons book, on line from lulu," Captives of a Concept".it will save you many years of bondage to a folly.
