The manual for your belief in God lies in enjoyment. Enjoyment of learning in your own good time about different ideas about God that humans of the Earth have tried to work out for thousands of years. The enjoyment of not being rushed into who God is. Not having to do as the school bully tells you, but in having fun with a friend (invisible God) finding out about what all His people for thousands of years have tried to make of Him. And then seeing if you feel He is a friend for life or if you prefer to wait for the next life to get to know Him because He seems to have left you on your own in the play area of this one to have fun and do things you find interesting. If the manual becomes tedious maybe you should take a walk or a train or somethin . Do what feels calming and don't beat yourself up or else years from now you will end up in lifes hospital wishing you'd ignored the manual and done what you felt in your heart.

You want everyone to stop using oil but do you eat meat?
by sammielee24 init takes 16 pounds of grain/grass etc to produce 1 pound of animal flesh which means that the biggest contributor to global warming isn't your car - it's animal produce.
now - we can scream about those gas guzzlers and the emissions they put out - but if we run out and buy ethanol or drive a prius - then we sit down to a steak dinner or chow down on those burgers...then don't you think that its a little ridiculous?

Have you heard of ecofuel? Its a vegetarian fuel. But it involves destroying the environments of animals and rain forests to grow the crops that produce the oils so that developed nations can think they are driving in an eco friendly way. Same thing with soya milk v's cows farting fiasco! Surely we intelligent humans can do better - can't we?

most disturbing movie scene you've seen?
by knock knock ini haven't seen this topic on here so i thought i'd.... hmmm, maybe it's because it's just too disturbing?
to me, the scene in saving private ryan - the two soldiers in the small upstairs room fighting hand to hand to the death (by stabbing).
i think that is the most disturbing thing i've seen on screen and there were plenty just in that film alone.

Any scenes where humans are cruel for the sake of it. I don't identify with or enjoy anything along those lines in movies or tv. As such I just switch or dont bother viewing it. Seems pointless to dwell on things so negative about humans. I prefer life and creativity stuff!

I was in perpetual conflict! All this stuff about rich men and eyes of needles would have me thinking it is good to be on low pay, but then I was busting my ass for my kids and trying to get to meets and being too knackered to study and then being treated like I was weakening whilst my wife leaned on me financially whilst putting KH stuff before family stuff. I tell you I was absolutely burned out for years feeling like I was doing all the pulling and that this was showing my devotion to God whilst feeling treated like some half baked recruit at the KH coz wifey spent all her free time on coffee meets and door knocking and WT crossword puzzles social knitting circles whilst I was in the world juggling my misfit religion and busting my ass. Just shows how much of a theatrical religion it is to elders and their wives. If you wanna shine you gotta work out what makes them smile and ignore all hard graft responsibilities! Simple equation for an easy WT life!

It is sad when people hate other people. It is the way with this world. Millions now living have perpetrated crimes or hurt of one sort or another whether legal or illegal and it is this which fuels many of the crimes of tomorrow. Absorbing pain and crime with love, education and respect is difficult if not impossible but how else to stop the cycle I cannot tell.

Being prejudiced is difficult to avoid in some ways. I know I look at all people as equal as I think is possible to do but I see communities of all colors who frown on someone bringing a 'standout' along to join in family life. Like a white man in a black suburb or vice versa. We have ourselves a situation. Hopefully it will evolve into a loving solution!

I try to love everyone but it's when they don't that I grow dim and fade away. And head over heels would be amazing but maybe I passed it way back in never never land. But yeah, love is perfect stuff with others who have also. Otherwise it's not so great. And if others love difference and interest and understanding and fun and everyone being cool with everyone it's ace. Never never land would be nice!

Here are some feelings I've experienced. If they are of any use it is my pleasure! I am sorry my thoughts are not your thoughts. It is a sadness to my soul that we cannot speak and understand each others feelings. It is a pain to my heart that we cannot respect each others thoughts and feelings with compassion. It truly breaks me up to imagine any of us may ever feel compelled to separate the bonds that we have. I love you all and wish everyone happiness. I must be true to my heart and cannot lie to it. I hope you respect me as I utterly have you. I hope you feel compelled to regularly communicate what I fear silence will emphatically destroy!
