  "Be Kind to the Fornicators in the Congregation!" -- New August Watchtower

  have you noticed the article entitled "watch your associations in these last days" in the new august 2015 study watchtower?.

  unless i'm reading it wrong, or somehow misinterpreting it, it is saying that we should be kind to intentional breakers of god's laws inside and outside the congregation, including fornicators, but that we must not be close associates with them.. are they already preparing for a shift in their disfellowshipping practices?.

  i worked a different shift.

  i knew the people i worked with, but not as well as i could have.. anyway, religion comes up.

  one guy mentions in front of another that i wrote a book about my religious experience.

  OTWO- What an absolutely ignorant co-worker to have to work with ! You were probably much more patient with this guy than I would have been. But I get it- you were kind of his captive audience since you had to be there working around the guy. Oh my god. I think the brain cells of most religious people have definitely been placed up on a high shelf somewhere to gather dust and cobwebs. For him to tell you that you might commit murder due to not being religious is quite insulting indeed. You handled it well my friend- better than I would have.   bro sanderson has a 7 minute video up on their streaming website called "be willing to open your hand".. in it he tells us not to be "tight fisted" or "stingy" and later "regardless of how much we have or how little we have, we'll find something within our power to be able to do".

  we have the responsibility to imitate jehovah's generosity.. there's a bit about giving to one another when we see the need, which is nice, then he drops in how 20 years ago the canada branch committee asked the bethel family for donations to the disaster relief fund, and promptly raised over $10,000.

  i think that's pretty good going for those under a vow of poverty.. "the generous person will prosper" he says, then illustrates this using a made up story.

  in may's "we will never solicit for money, but now we're going to solicit you for the next hour" broadcast, we kept hearing about all the "facts" that the gb would like for us to know.. hmm...what facts did they leave out?.

  -- $millions have been spent in out-of-court settlements of child abuse cases.

  -- $untold amounts are being spent on legal defense of wt policies related to child abuse.

  SIR 82- You nailed it precisely. The secrecy and cloak of illusion the WT leaders use to deceive rank & file JW's is like a circus performer doing slight of hand tricks- only this time WT Society is doing slight of hand tricks with JW followers money . I mean think about it- to even HAVE an annual article printed up every year ( when is it in November's WT ? ) about HOW JW's can contribute life insurance policies, inheritances, material possessions, stocks, jewelry, real estate, etc. to " further kingdom interests " is disgusting.

  And rank & file JW's are none the wiser. They are TOO trusting of the GB's motives, TOO trusting that the WT leaders know best on their behalf. WT leaders are ONLY interested in keeping the financial game going for the WT organization so the benefits can benefit the WT corporate attorneys, WT shareholders , and WT leaders to keep their coveted positions of power and control. All on the backs of poorer rank & file members and aging JW widows who have been duped by this organization's motives since 1879. 136 years now which has turned this organization into a money grubbing real estate land grabbing machine.   How many child abuse cases?

  does anyone know where i can find numbers of how many child abuse cases have been brought against jws or settled out of court?.

  i know that 1 is too many and statistics don't reflect the horror suffered, but i would like some numbers to use when explaining to others the reasons for my decreased activity and to have support for my reasons for 'stumbling', facts which might make others think too.. im from uk so it helps that the charities commission is investigating there and also there's a paedophiles exposed website which names 32 jws convicted in uk since 2012, horrifying!

  There were 16 out of court child abuse cases settled out of court in California in 2007 alone and the attorney Irwin Zalkin from what I understand has at least 20 or more child abuse lawsuits going right now against the WT Society. There are also about 7 cases I am aware of going against the WT Society in Texas it was mentioned in the last 6 months here on the board. With the ones that you mentioned in Great Britain- it's no stretch of the imagination that over 100 or more of these WT child abuse cases are going on throughout the entire world right now. And yes- WT Society in the United States does have a list of about 23,000 known JW pedophiles on their database list. A list that they REFUSED to hand over to the courts in San Diego, CA. which cost them 13.5 million $$$$ in lawsuits in favor of Gilbert Lopez a JW child abuse victim.

  WT leaders are arrogant they feel the laws of the land do NOT apply to them , but they are starting to get a rude awakening to reality these last couple years. The more stubborn WT leaders choose not to cooperate with police and laws of the land it will only get them more negative attention in the media which in turn may start turning even more JW's into exiting the JW organization

  i just wanted to introduce myself and say a big hello to all of my mentally diseased friends.. i say friends because i have been lurking for some time so it feels like home (us lurkers are a bit scared and cautious so it takes a while).

  i won't bore you with too many details, but i am a born in, currently serving as the cobe of a congregation.

  my wife and i have pioneered for the last 10 years and were shaken awake by that ridiculous 15th july 2013 wt about the generation and 1914.. my wife who is much smarter than me has questioned for years.

  the cobe of the local kingdom hall never paid my ex-wife for the work done because they promised they would use "trade" to reimburse close to $5000 worth of work.

  as you can imagine nobody here would like him because he believes all the pedophiles can change their ways after the child sex offenders have proved their humility by bowing before the judicial committees.

  this is how honest jehovah's witnesses are, they changed her work from a 1200 sq.

  PW2, I wouldn't bother calling Bethel. If turning these clowns in would prevent them ripping off more people I would do it.

  I called Bethel a few years back when a coddled-by-elders ex-con pedophile followed my friend in his car. (She was more angry than afraid and drove straight to the house of one of the pedo's elder buddies)

  I told them I was afraid for her safety, that I'd never been a witness and was several states away. I laid out the criminal leanings of some of these elders and that it's well known that pedophiles don't change.

  The jerk at Bethel sounded like a damned robot " It will be looked into." Basically not interested.

  Are you in Washington state? This sounds just like that congregation. I hate to think there's another one as bad, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

  i know there's another thread about this specially talented musician's passing- but this guy was a torch carrier from the old bluesmen like muddy waters, howlin wolf, john lee hooker, and lightnin' hopkins who made chuck berry millions of $$$$$$ and collaborated with rock n rollers like bono of u2 .

  these old bluesmen from the 1940's deserve all the credit for the babv that the blues ended up giving birth to- rock and roll music.

  any comments are appreciated and welcome for b.b., music, or the blues in general pour your heart out.
