  Told my JW mother about the report on Nightline!

  even though we have agreed to not speak religion, i thought this was something she would want to see, especially because she knows the struggles we have been through because of what happened to our daughter.

  after watching it she actually agreed things need to change in their policy's and that the congregation should be warned.. she also said kendrick and his wife made fools of themselves.. i have a feeling more witnesses then not would agree with her....however, how they feel and what they do about it is two very different things.

  they are completely powerless in their religion!

  TRUTHSEEKERIAM- Good for you in telling your JW mom about it. I've talked to my JW mom about the Conti, Lopez and Oregon JW child abuse cases recently and she says the same thing as your mom does, " WT Society needs to CHANGE their policies " and my mom at 87 years old has been a JW since 1951. It's a good thing when we can make these JW's aware of what's going on in their organization- because they won't hear anything over the platform about child abuse within their ranks. They'll only hear GB member Lett making excuses and saying it's " ridiculous " that apostates say that WT Society is putting children in danger.

  On the way to work today I'm going into my little town and I'll be leaving WT child abuse news printouts with the JW's who stand by the JW cart doing their preaching. Going to let them know what's happening. People need to hear about this. Good job Truthseeker ! Keep the good work up

  ABCNews Nightline: Segment on JW absuse cases here......

  here is the segment on the conti abuse case in california and jehovah's witness's response as reported on by the abcnews nightline broadcast which was shown early this morning.

  it really displays some absolutely shocking behavior from not only her abuser and his (supportive) wife, but also the jw attorneys and elders via video.

  i am just blown away by the audacity displayed by these monsters.. we can now understand why governing body member stephen lett slipped in his comments a couple of weeks ago about "untrue reports of child abuse" in one of his talks which can viewed on the cult's website.

  I didn't realize there's a religion called " Moron's ". Of course it's kind of how I see some organized religions as being anyway- so it might fit. ( I know you probably meant "Mormons " just having a little light humor here. ) Just joking. You make some good points child abuse is wrong wherever it comes from- any religions

  The most amazing thing about this Nightline report to me was the revealing of the absolutely arrogant and pompous attitudes of Kendrick and his wife. I mean- what the hell did they expect ? Crumpets with tea from the ABC news reporter for Christ's sakes ? It's like , " Yeah, I'm a child molester and this is my wife who is pissed off as hell that ABC is invading our privacy and because you are telling the truth and exposing me as a child molester- my wife is calling the police . " Dumb shits. They really think the cops will side with them? He's a freaking child molester ! I never cease to be amazed at the stupidity of sociopathic people

  This was an incredible 10 minutes of journalism. To see ABC a major national network affiliate do interviews and expose the arrogance of the WT Society and make them look so criminal, so bad- it was astounding. Even used the term " worldly " . Cool. Good job ABC. Two thumbs up.

  Candace Conti came across as so together, so unselfish in wanting to prevent this from happening to other victims - as someone else stated on another thread " she was the only one who was sorry for these things happening " ! It's amazing how lowdown and scummy this report made the WT Society appear to be as well as Jonathan Kendrick and his Psycho JW wife. To think that Kendrick's wife was actually calling the police authorities on the ABC news reporter- that was freaking hilarious- and sad all at the same time because it showed her complicity and acceptance of her husbands criminal behavior as well. What a freak she was. And her husband.

  The WT Society getting exposed like this is the next best thing to apple pie, sliced sourdough bread with hot butter, and a gourmet meal all wrapped into one. If it can protect one more child - it will be worth it

  This was an outstanding piece of journalism. Probably the best yet in my opinion. As far as hitting the issue hard and showing the absolute arrogance of Kendrick and his ever " supportive " JW wife in their sociopathic denial of any guilt whatsoever or compassion towards Conti. Candace handled herself fantastic- she was very composed and put the emphasis on trying to bring changes to the WT Society's child abuse policies for other potential victims. The WT representatives on the court stand and Kendrick and his wife came across as indignant criminals who got their hand caught in the cookie jar and showed NO remorse whatsoever. WT Society is looking REALLY bad now. Just as bad as the Catholic church did- if not worse. WT leaders, Kendrick and his wife deserve any negative fallout they get for being so arrogant and prideful

  Had to work last night. Just saw the Nightline you tube in total. Candace handled her interview beautifully. FREAKING WOW. That was powerful. Even more so than the PBS news report because it showed how arrogant Kendrick and his wife were with the lack of remorse and justification that Kendrick had " paid " for his crime. Yeah, right. Then the ever dutiful JW wife tries to call the police on the ABC news reporter. Priceless. People like Kendrick and his wife and WT leaders get what they have coming to them. All of them a bunch of jackasses

  Just saw on my channel guide with Comcast cable- that it will be on at 12:30 Pacific time out west here in California as well. I was hoping since it is on 12:30 Eastern time it would be on 9:30 P. M. Western- no such luck

  considering the fact that the wt society refuses to release in courts any of it's written directions to elders through confidential letters to elder bodies- i thought i'd do the courts and wt society a "favor " by posting excerpts from this oct 1st.

  2012 letter from the wt society to all bodies of elders.

  these instructions are very exposing of the negligence of wt authorities in how they view the seriousness of felony child abuse.

It's an important topic to keep bringing up to JW's and non-JW's so they can see the extent of damage that WT Society's criminal liability is causing. Bring it on
